i bought a 2001 SAR-1 in 2002, new. im not new to this. i sold arsenals for 800 back in 2014, they also had issues. they ALL had issues. polish, bulgy, russian, its a harsh operating system. 

if you are gonna spew hate, tell me what rockwell your forged series pioneer arms ak bolt was. mine was 42-43Rc on my work Rockwell testor (I am a repair machinist by trade, and a former 45B Small arms repairman) tell me your front trunion condition on the locking lugs. tell me if your bcarrier cam path had any peening or if the path was smooth on your pioneer arms. how were your rivets? you do own one to talk about them, right? have you even seen one?

i had over 4k through my SAR-1 and prolly 1k through my 16". the wear pattern was just as good as the sar was, for when the sar was at 1k. source: me, owning that rifle for 24 years. watching patterns. and what i see on the 2 pioneers, FINE. and zero firing pins have broken. my buddy ALSO had a hellpup 5.56, was ALSO fine. 

you can come in here and spew hate but you BEST bring technical, legit, first hand receipts for these issues, that YOU HAVE HAD, or else its talk.  

what clay found on his burn down and what i have seen are very similar, but i have yet to break a firing pin. full disclosure: i did round mine a bit as i felt they were too sharp.

its an attero arms, i had to machine it to fit the pioneers slightly different ange inside, but its neat. they offer that service for guys as well. 

yeah people from 2010 mindset really love to bash pioneer 😂. its funny to me. im a long time AK guy. i recently sold 1 extra pioneer and my very used SAR-1 and kept this one. its great. 

i dunno like 800 ish? lost count. had it 2 years, recently kitted it out and started shooting it a lot more. 

fwiw i have broken 0 firing pins on any of the pioneers ive owned. lol.
