It's a municipal election today in Toronto. You are voting for the mayor of Toronto, for councilors who represent individual areas of the city in the city counsel and for educational trustees (not entirely sure what they do).

This has nothing to do with the political parties you hear about in reference to Federal or provincial elections. The mayoral candidates will have political leanings but do not belong to a political party, same with the councilors.

You can research the candidates for your area online.

I was aware of tip pools, etc. What I was arguing is the idea that a server WHO WANTS YOU TO TIP THEM would literally try to guilt trip their customer by telling them that it comes out of the server's pocket if they don't tip.

I get people don't like tipping. I don't like it. But when you make shit up and generalize how other people act to try to justify your feelings I get all indignant and stuff.

So where are these servers who tell you directly that if you don't tip them they lose money? Such utter bullshit ragebait.
