Whyin the hell does it make you play a game as the scousers against citeh, and then immediately remember my settings as having the greatest team in the land. WHY

CheekyFeet

Who dafuq am I gonna call Dat Guy now?

CheekyFeet

Or we could get some of mike's special stuff. Aka dat good drank.

CheekyFeet

How Dafuq did Donovan get MVP?! He played like 10 min. If it's because he scored, the other goal was way doper. Shits weak. #murica

CheekyFeet

Well that and subway.

CheekyFeet

Where's ando when you need him, but seriously this game is calling for a marauding deep lying midfielder to bring it up and smash it home.

CheekyFeet

Liverpool's jerseys look like they could be McDonald's uniforms.

CheekyFeet

Tried to get a discount on my ticket, but apparently there was a major slip up.

While publicity wise it's cool internationals come to retire and play out their career. We need a better youth system. I think college soccer damages us quite a bit, and how that feeds into the mls. Some mls teams have youth programs, but not really sure how affective they are. If we can blow up grassroots soccer more it'd be a great start. I'm talking soccer courts essentially. We need places that kids can go on the daily and play with each other. Depending what part of the country you live in, it's hard even getting a 5 a side going.

We played well. In the first half we had a passing combination of brilliance. However, we came up against a typically well organized Italian side. I personally feel like we deserved a straight out win, but none of our players showed the moment of brilliance required to win such a game. I feel like LVG set the stage for our squad players to do so, but they didn't, which was disappointing. I know it's a friendly but this is what worried me. The game was there for the taking but we didn't snag it a la Fergie time. Having said that, we showed pure class in the penalties.

CheekyFeet

Wtf is this commercial shit. God damn muricans.

CheekyFeet

That shit made my day. Love seeing that. I pretty much get that way playing FIFA after a dope goal or a gw -_-

CheekyFeet

Aaaaand it's a friendly. I love the winning spirit no matter what.

CheekyFeet

I can't help but feel like he may have really liked LVG, and thrived under him for a season or two.

Good new lads! I just got my ticket to the Ann Arbor game and agent cheekyfeet is on a mission. Planning on having a stein with Khedira and a glass of fine French wine with Varane to hammer out some details on how the can escape Madrid to our humble squad. Probably, go to this nice tapas bar and get Ronaldo while I'm at it. I just don't know if I'll have enough time.

CheekyFeet

We do lack a genuine "spine" that many current successful teams have. Obviously a solid cb and cm would help fix this.

CheekyFeet

Not gonna lie. Had a half chub when I saw the line up.

CheekyFeet

I agree. I just like the fact that when de Jong came out he just switched positions and was seemingly unphased for such a big game. I just don't know how he'd fit in our squad. We just bought Shaw and Herrera. We will most likely buy another cm so he'd basically be a squad player, and I feel like we'd be doing him an injustice.

CheekyFeet

I really like the versatility of Blind. Pretty chill that he can float between two of the positions we need most.

CheekyFeet

Michael and Ruud be killing it.

CheekyFeet

I thought it was lame how he promoted his "music" on air.

CheekyFeet

lol got it you just criticize other people for doing it. I completely agree with you in the youth aspect, and it will be interesting to see what "world class" or "marquee" players we attempt to purchase.

CheekyFeet

I agree it's not ideal, but it's reality. Btw you haven't mentioned who you would like to see join our squad. I'm just curious.

CheekyFeet

Big targets like Fabregas, Kroos, and Reus? That's working well. I'm just trying to be realistic in the window atm. Sorta tired of people acting like the transfer market is similar to FIFA or football manager. Additionally, the amount of attacking player we have would fit perfectly with deep lying midfielders who can dictate play and make it easier for said attacking players.

CheekyFeet

Regardless of this games outcome, I think he'd be a great buy. I was bummed we didn't get him over Bayern. I feel like him, Schweini, strootman in January, shaw, and a cb would help wonders.
