Pretty sure it does carry over. I got a pop-up about a yearly/monthly subscription when the app first updated but I x'ed it out and went to my profile/settings and it shows Premium Member. No subscription.

Taking delivery also allows you to walk through the R2 and do your own checks, and get anything else taken care of while they have it for paint repair. So you knock out multiple birds with one stone instead of multiple SC appointments, hopefully.

The computer is only 1 piece of the puzzle, theres no antenna or wiring for that to happen, as far as the manual and repair stuff thats been released so far says.

I guess a 3rd party bracket that doesn't require drilling?

Unfortunately I wasn't able to fully play around with the sound & music on my demo drive today and likely won't be able to do another anytime soon (too far from spaces)... BUT I was wondering what the hardware for the sound system is like, as far as what speakers and such. Of course software can make a lot of things better but only if the hardware is decent. If I do get my number called I'll be coming from a Hyundai with a Harman Kardon sound system, if the R2 is anywhere near similar that would be amazing.

So, how did it go? I have a reservation tomorrow!

An FM antenna is probably the cheapest thing you could put into a car... Just because you don't use it doesn't mean that others don't. While it's not the most widely used, it still serves a purpose.

As far as I'm aware, if you go into the configurator and build your vehicle to spec and heart it at the top, that's what's considered your build preference.

I don't doubt it but where did you see that it wasn't shipping with it? Is it not available in the software on the demo drives currently?

Rivian is no longer an infantile company, they can facilitate leasing options for people who want to go that route. You still haven't given any reason why lease = flop, just seems like you're mad that they didn't make the car 0$ for you. If you have a reservation, just refund it so the rest of us can buy the flop. :)

In what world is there no demand? Too expensive; The price point has been known to every reservation holder. A new product with leasing options means flop? Can I please have what you're having, it seems like good drugs.
