It sounds like a restriction that would apply for 2D games too.

Is octo a racial slur lol

I feel it's slipped a fair bit from what I paid $60 for nearly a decade ago.

I think someone just modded the game.
I could do the same thing easily in Splatoon 2 with mods and pick any rgb color I wanted for each team. I could even enable the splatfest glitter. I liked to be used motor oil 🥰

My pokemon pearl is crashing regularly :/ tried cleaning the pins and it didn't help. Found this thread googling how to fix it

Wait and watch your teammate and deploy at the same time as them so their attention is split is all you can really try.

When is this useful for a snail? Considering how often I accidentally step on them, I would assume their lives are normall short outside of captivity, so why would being able to hibernate for 4 years+ help them?

You can tell it's a joke and not an actual product because the price isn't 11.99

Thank you for accommodating my cheeseburger ass

I call bullshit.

If you repeatedly put too thin coats of a metallic paint down it will end up like this. Don't ask how I know.

Tackling someone for removing a parking boot sounds like a crime lol
PC-hris
He tackled you? Can they do that? Was it a cop?
PC-hris
Yeah that kind of meticulousness and keeping things organized makes putting stuff back together way easier. The moment you lose track of what came from where in what order, you're doomed.

So the statement is still true. We cannot emulate raiders.
PC-hris
That's not emulation

Seems like reddit must be doing that by default for people or something.
It's working for me now. Thank you!
PC-hris
Why does everyone on reddit have a private profile? I would love to look through your art

Thought this was some weird political ad at first.

I 100 percent agree. Revoking someone's lisence can be a big punishment if their livelihood relies on it and should be taken very seriously.
PC-hris
I think you're missing the joke.

Some People tend to have this vindictive mindset where they're more focused on punishment than on reducing recidivism. More extreme punishment doesn't fix everything. It doesn't magically solve crime and it won't prevent mistakes.
If you want less crime you need to focus more on rehabilitation over harsh punishment and if you want to reduce mistakes you need to focus on better training and teaching more specific procedures and checklists that are harder to make errors with, especially when distracted or under a lot of mental load.
Was there a pre flight takeoff checklist this guy was supposed to follow that would have prevented this if he was more diligent but instead he ignored it all together? Did this pilot have a higher rate of mistakes than normal? Maybe there's a case for criminal conduct and some punishment. But we don't know that from this video. It seems just as plausible to me that this kind of flight might just have way less training than something like an airplane.
People want someone to blame when things go wrong and will try to make someone fit into that role even when there's limited info to prove it.
It's this kind of mindset that leads cops to imprisoning innocent people for crimes they didn't commit because they feel like they need to put someone in jail so the crime doesn't go unpunished. They pick their best bet, look past the evidence that says it's still not that good of a bet, and call the case closed. It's an especially huge problem in the Japanese justice system where they have a 99 percent conviction rate. They're courts are really a formality and don't protect the innocent. The idea of a crime going unpunished is worse than the idea of imprisoning an innocent person in their eyes, and so this stick a scape goat behind bars.
I think the important question here is do you want someone to be punished harshly for what happened here, or do you want this to never happen again?
If you want this to never happen again, then an independent investigation on how this mistake was even made and if it was preventable is in order.

I remember watching a video where a guy made a cartridge for the SNES that would pipe video in from their PC into the systems memory and it would then display it on the tv.
So, a lot, I think.

As an amateur modern graphics programmer this is very fascinating to read about. Thank you.
I'm surprised it had anti aliasing but not texture filtering lol the 3D games I've played on it have very pixelated textures. It's charming, but an interesting choice.
