You honestly can’t ruin them, if they get “too moist” you can recover them with a low temp oven or dehydrator. I’ve left spools out in 75% humidity for months, and managed to recover them before.

Try a different spool (one without cardboard support) and if that doesn’t work then the gears or motor in the AMS may be faulty.

You can use the printer without the AMS though. If your printer didn’t come with the external spool holder, you can get away with any sort of heavyish rod, hell I’ve seen someone use a paper towel holder temporarily. Then print a replacement holder.

Something about the cardboard just doesn’t move right on the AMS rollers sometimes. If I recall Bambu even states on their site and in the box with the AMS not to use cardboard spools, for this reason.

It’s one of those things that people either never have a problem with or constantly have a problem with.

Also 1) is this a new printer/ams or used?
2) have you tried any other spools?

Have you taken a piece of filament and push it manually all the way from the PETG tube in the back of the AMS all the way to the printer?

Also sometimes non Bambu filament spools (especially the cardboard spools) don’t turn properly in an AMS so you may need an adapter like this to help them turn.

A couple of distributors are willing to ship Silencers and SBR/SBS’s to non SOT’s but most have taken the stance that the ATF haven’t actually said anything about form 3’s so business as usual there.

Total noob question but where do you get the giant ass interior that’s like 3-5 normal interiors wide?

You can put access to your storage containers and fabricators inside the corvette, so your ship basically becomes a frigate that you can land on planets. You can also much easier do salvaging.

I have a solar ship that’s way better energy wise for long jumps and planet hopping, but other than that my corvette has basically removed my need for a “normal” ship.

Hopefully there will be an amnesty period where FFL’s can fix any paperwork issues or have all of the NFA items during this period grandfathered in.

But no one knows, it could be a slap on the wrist, through to fines or jail time. Depends on how dickish a new administration is to us.

Talking to my friendly neighborhood ATF agent, he’s said that as far as he’s aware the court cases is going to make a change (at some point) to the forms a customer fills out for a silencer BUT the dealer to dealer transfers and additional paperwork isn’t going to go away anytime soon. So you’ll still need to be a SOT to have them transferred to you.

There’s a chance he could be wrong, no one knows anything at the moment but I’d recommend filing for the SOT as a CYA measure if you want to deal with silencers as just because the law changes today, doesn’t mean it can’t change back with the next administration.

Dunno if they ever fixed the issue but three times in the first six months of owning mine it would try and update overnight, fail and drain the battery. So I’d go to start it and then charge the battery or jump start her to get to where I needed to go.

This needs more traction, a Kerbal Space Program YouTuber Matt Lowne did some experiments with his human made thumbnails and the YouTube auto generated thumbnails and he basically said that the difference in viewer counts (because YouTube pushed the AI video more) would be career ending for most people who solely rely on YouTube for their income.

Yup I made that mistake once and thankfully it only cost me a loaded Walther P99 magazine.

Now I make sure never to put anything firearms wise into my travel backpack and never use my range bag as a travel bag. It’s annoying to have two separate bags but it’s become second nature now.

If you donated them to charity, sadly there’s a very good chance that they ended up going to be shredded and turned into something else like padding or insulation.
