Almost fell for the herring, but began seeing other groupings quickly that pulled them out of it. Pretty quick solve after that.

The fact that’s a double minor but that ultra dangerous boarding call got 2 is just a fucking joke.

ZappySnap

That being 2 is a fucking travesty. Come on Refs - you have a chance to help Florida stop doing this.

ZappySnap

That should be 5. I fucking hate this Panther goon culture.

ZappySnap

Indeed. I use one for my c-41 development. I still think it is more complicated and such to get things going. When I want to develop C-41 it’s a process - setting up the sous vide, waiting for the chems to come to temp, etc.

B+W just quick dilute some developer, run it, rinse, fix, rinse and dry.

But yea, with a sous vide C-41 isn’t hard, it’s just more time consuming than BW.

ZappySnap

I don’t know if I’d say that. C-41 is easy, but you do need to maintain chem temp and be diligent about that. Black and white is generally quite easy and done at room temp, though there are more decisions to make.

George has admitted fault MANY times. And there isn’t a single driver on the grid that hasn’t had moments where they don’t think something was their fault.

ZappySnap

I love how you get downvoted for this opinion. It’s got garbage critic reviews and even the audience score, which is almost always ‘fresh’ on RT, is barely above 50%….

I own the DVD. Watched the movie once. That was enough. It I was glad for the original Wolfman and Frankenstein copies included with the DVD set - they made it worth the purchase.

For me, though, the worst movie I (partially) saw in theaters was Home Fries, which is just god-awful. Still to this day the only film I’ve walked out of in a theater.

🎶Jannah, Jannah? who the fuck is Jannah? 🎵

ZappySnap

No, I am concerned with helping OP get meaningful sleep. And even if the settings aren’t “perfect” for them, it will still be an overall net benefit vs. waking up 15 times an hour gasping for air for the next three months with completely untreated OSA. Which is what you are basically telling them to do.

ZappySnap

Yes he is. And that sensation is extremely common with a starting pressure of 4. (And a top pressure of 7, which is too low to stop most people’s apneas). A very large number of us had similar experiences and the solution is to up the starting pressure. This isn’t some odd complication that requires surgery or medication.

ZappySnap

It actually isn’t the same at all. Even with imperfect settings, having some relief from apneas is going to be better for someone with OSA than none for the next three months. That’s three months of lower brain oxygen, three months of poor sleep.

Will it be better once they get fit and set up? Probably, but they aren’t going to be harmed by using another machine for a little while, and most sleep doctors don’t tailor the pressure settings at all. Most just put it in from min to max and let the machine pick the pressures.

ZappySnap

First, I’m not OP. Second, there are a HUGE amount of doctors that don’t actually dial in specific settings. When I first got my CPAP and prescription, I got the bog standard 4-20 “let the machine handle it” settings.

4 was way too low starting and I had to move it up. I am not alone in feeling air starved at low pressures. And it has nothing to do with being patient. I’m not going to start every night gasping for air.

I’ve been on CPAP for 5 years, I’ve consulted the changes I’ve made with my sleep doctor and they told me the low starting pressure is done mainly because some people reject higher pressures when starting out, not because it’s therapeutically better, and were perfectly fine with me changing to a higher starting pressure.

It's exactly how that works.

ZappySnap

He did not consent to 6 controllers. Period.

You honestly think they can just send extras and retroactively charge him? That’s not how this works. He consented to ONE CONTROLLER. I’m not warping anything. The law is extremely clear here. You are the one trying to warp this into some bizarre situation.

Nowhere in the law does it make exceptions for shipping quantity errors. If a company delivers something you did not order, addressed to you, you can treat it as a gift. Period. He ordered one controller. All the others are not things he ordered. They were delivered to him under his name at his address. They are therefore a gift.

ZappySnap

So you think if I order a $20 item and then Amazon also sends along a $5,000 item I didn’t order in the box, that they can come collecting for that $5,000 because I also ordered something else?

Yeah no. The contract was for one controller. They fulfilled that contract. Then they sent 5 controllers that were not part of the contract, unsolicited.

ZappySnap

They did send him something out of the blue he didn’t request. They sent him 5 controllers he did not purchase or request. They were addressed and delivered to him. Just because he ordered (and they fulfilled) one of the same item does not mean that he suddenly has to return the 5 items they sent to him without his consent.

Even asking you to return them puts a labor requirement on you. And if he didn’t return them? Then what? They can’t charge him for it; he didn’t order it.

ZappySnap

A shipping error is when you get delivered something that wasn’t addressed to you. Receiving more than you ordered is 100% unsolicited merchandise. He ordered one controller. They sent him 5 controllers he did not order. Unsolicited. He is not under any obligation to return them.

Right in that link for the code: “For the purposes of this section, “unordered merchandise” means merchandise mailed without the prior expressed request or consent of the recipient.”

OP did not request or consent to 6 controllers. He requested and consented (via payment) for delivery of 1 controller.

ZappySnap

At least in the US, it’s absolutely correct. You cannot be charged for receiving items shipped to you in error. This is to prevent companies sending you things you didn’t order and then trying to collect money for it. And having you return them requires work on your part that also was not requested by you.

In the US at least, OP can keep all 6 without issue.

ZappySnap

Indeed. He pronounces it as Are - Ee - ELL .

I didn’t get hung up on that - I flat out had no idea on this category and was clueless today.

Absolutely and completely lost on this one, and I never had a chance. Found yellow, and thought we had types of skirts, but no. Have never heard poodle used in this way. Ever. I thought Stooge, Minion and puppet went together but had no clue on what the last could be, though I eventually got that through dumb luck. The Disney character homophones are just something that never even crossed my mind - and Doc and Minnie would have been the furthest from my mind even if I’d have clocked Ariel and Belle, since I’d then have been looking for Disney princesses.

Same with mustache types. Just too much niche stuff here.
