If you wanted to visually portray “the lost ones” – missing people, forgotten stories, and those who’ve fallen through society’s cracks – how would you do it? (self.AskReddit)

Los. I listened to Rammstein since I was 14. I even had their albums on CD... but I heard "Los" for the first time just a few months ago.. I love it

This meme is definitely funny and still relatable for me after 8 yearsnof marriage. But it also touches on a very real concern. Living with someone, especially in a marriage, is challenging—there’s no denying that. But, as with so many things, good communication, understanding, and mutual respect are what make it work.

For example, my husband would happily spend every waking moment by my side. He expresses his love through lots of physical affection—kisses, hugs, etc. Meanwhile, I’m the complete opposite. I need a lot of alone time and don’t handle physical contact well.

And yet, it works! He knows my needs and quirks and gives me the space I require, even when it’s not what he would prefer in that moment. In turn, I also try to give him what he needs.

At the end of the day, it’s about respecting each other and being clear about boundaries and needs—on both sides. It’s not always easy, but it’s absolutely worth it.

Thank you for your kind words. Unfortunately, even after an official search and an appeal on television, we haven’t found any clues or answers.

He was going through a very difficult time in his life, but the how or where of his disappearance remains completely unclear.

I personally believe he’s no longer alive, but beyond that, I don’t know anything more.

The first thing that comes to mind wasn’t even a horror movie – it was an older James Bond film. The villain gets put into a pressure chamber (I think?), and he swells up and explodes. I must’ve been around 5 or 6, and those few seconds of film have stayed with me ever since. If I watched it today, I’d probably laugh, but back then, it was horrifying.

The second is definitely the original Dark Water. I watched it with some friends when I was about 12, and it took years for me to stop being scared of hair in the shower (even my own).

And then, of course, there are movies that I think you’re never old enough to watch… (cough Martyr cough)

My brothers disappearing

This. That was my first thought as well. My brother was highly intelligent and had undiagnosed ADHD or AuDHD. As a child, he exhibited extremely destructive behaviors (I can elaborate if anyone’s interested, but it’s a long story).

Our father was convinced he was inherently 'evil,' but I firmly believe—actually, I know—that he was just struggling to cope in a world that felt completely alien to him.

He’s been missing without a trace since 2011

Unfortunately, it happens to me far too often that I claim to have already completed something because I can't justify not having done it yet. The big problem with this is: my brain then stores this task as actually completed..
