They have to give the fighers X amount of fights per year. They don't have to give you the fight a fighter wants and the fighter can refuse the fight.

quantgorithm

I mean… it’s still not crazy nvidia pricing.

quantgorithm

At this point, I would wait for qwen 4 and set specs and budget to that.

quantgorithm

I’m laughing at the pricing obv…
Yep, I put in a pair of r9700 cards for an ai machine that’s still cheaper than your cost with my total budget… but you do have more ram. Putting pcs together is merely Lego for adults. It’s not technically hard if you get over the fear factor and most parts can only fit in one proper way so you almost have to go out of your way to do it wrong these days.
Good luck with the sale!

quantgorithm

🙄😂🤣☠️
The comedy.
The high power gpu cabling still doesnt properly get you into multi gpu. A 2nd psu does though which is what I did.

quantgorithm

I picked up a p620 on eBay for $800 maybe 2 months ago. Literally. 3945 and 32gb ram and 1 tb drive.

quantgorithm

I was out the door to go to the top of this building on 9/11.
I noped.

quantgorithm

you make zero sense.

quantgorithm

The reiterate faster than you as well. Hell, they can do the entire full workflow faster than you could do a first draft!

quantgorithm

Nice to know ya!

quantgorithm

I remade the original powershell ide called powergui but for current ps1
… and then I realized I’m never really going to code scripts anymore in this ai age.
Powergui was the bomb though and I never saw an ide since that held variables states outside of debugging. That feature alone made me stick with it for years after it ended dev and Dell bought it etc.

quantgorithm

I picked up 2 amd vII cards for $200 each. It can run qwen 3.6 around 60t/s. Pretty good for a near decade old card!

quantgorithm

10t/s is not good...
Painful.

quantgorithm

Now that I’m using Linux for AI, it’s starting to get easier to switch my main machine over and soon it will be bye bye windows.

quantgorithm

So many garbage bots on this sub.

quantgorithm

You aren’t competing against rocm or vulkan. You are competing against radiance.

quantgorithm

All variations have 4 outputs. Not all have an hdmi port. Some have only 4 display ports.

quantgorithm

I recall the vram bandwidth being terrible compared to the 4080s but I’m going from memory.

quantgorithm

Yes exactly. I’ve already done this in similar ways using my ai to do things like manage other pi sessions, do Llm testing (even on itself), reporting and searching for new Llm test candidates, error handle the Llm being offline, reporting etc etc. it really is a whole new world and anyone can do just about everything these days. Also on the shortlist is something like this thread that gives me easy remote access to manage things internally.

quantgorithm

Oof, lol, I haven’t even used Hermes yet. I use pi. I’ve used a bunch of harnesses but not yet real multi agentic ones like Hermes or openclaw. It’s on the shortlist. Just trying to get up one step at a time and have an understanding without getting too many variables I wouldn’t understand involved at the same time.

quantgorithm

I love it. Can you use it in reverse to call your Hermes?

quantgorithm

How is it calling you without a phone number?

quantgorithm

How does it stand balanced on its axis with the wheels not spinning?

quantgorithm

This may just be the biggest flan I’ve ever seen!

quantgorithm

I saw a person die in a car accident. We should ban all cars!
