Sure if you look at the last full set of accounts on companies house (for FY24) you'll see just at the top level their revenue increased by £55m vs an increase in cost of cost of sales of £2m.

So they posted a gross profit of £374.5m (up £53m from prior year). However their operating expenses were £172.7m (up £21m from prior year). Meaning total profit before tax of £203m (up £33m)

Without knowing the full details that's indicative of profit driven by increasing volumes in sales and manufacturing increasing to reflect that while the actual cost of the operation of selling the product remains relatively stable year on year which is where the profit increase comes from. 

They won't make much greater margins on the actual kits in terms of manufacture though, they'll be profiting from increased volumes meaning the development costs, design, overheads etc all make up a smaller cost of sales per kit

Aah glad to hear it. I ran a session with my group last night with a couple of encounters mostly against minions and I think everyone took at least one wound and it felt like there were high stakes and a good flow to the combat. 

The high elf wizard even nearly died until he could do a clutch staunch because he rolled 2 9s on his second wound

That's more on how you're choosing to play though. If you're trying to avoid taking any wounds at all then that's not what the system is designed around and you're gonna have a bad time

If they roll poorly then there's still a chance the enemy would equal or match their number of successes. In that case what I said applies

1. Regardless of how high their defence is and their resilience, the first attack would stagger them if it lands, the next would force them to give ground, go prone or take a wound. With enough enemies you can wear through a very resilient player

And I have disagreed with that law since it was introduced. 

All this does is exacerbate the us vs them mentality that a lot of police officers have

This might not necessarily be right if the setting for the old world is the same as the 'The Old World' tabletop rpg. That's set about 40 years after the end of the vampire wars so Vlad was defeated and is currently lying dead in a swamp somewhere

Reform in particular love to report all sorts of things to the police because then the obliging useful idiots in the media print headlines like "So and so reported to the police for XYZ".

The whole point of the term "centrist" is that it's not a real position to hold. 

The political "centre" moves as the Overton window shifts? Do you really keep track of that and move with it? Or is there a genuine position that you believe in and that you hold?

Or is your "centrist" position really just being right of centre economically but you feel bad about mistreatment of minorities?

PCs can only give ground once per battle round so it doesn't unduly lengthen combat if you apply it properly. 

I think in the example of a goblin then the GM can rule on a discretion basis but I also don't think just because an Ally is in the zone they shouldn't run. I imagine it like their morale is failed and they're booking it to safety, not strategically withdrawing

Starmer didn't use that majority at all though. He had no political nouse at all. He'd talk about making an unpopular decision, look like he was going to spend some political capital to back it in the face of criticism, and then back down way too late anyway after the damage was done.
