Ha. With you, buddy. Dogs are definitely superior to humans.

reddaddiction

Ha. I'm kinda in that camp, although worship might be a little strong. I fucking love dogs, though. Just the best.

reddaddiction

Helpful comment. Thank you.

reddaddiction

Great. Thank you. How are you liking it so far?

reddaddiction

Yeah... I have a super chill, friendly, and goofy Golden Retriever. Not a lot seems to phase him and he loves meeting just about everyone.

reddaddiction

Yeah... I'm certainly not trying to get away with anything or do something that will bum a lot of people out, but there are some places where the vast majority of people are simply cool with it, and that's what I was asking about. Thank you.

reddaddiction

Ha. You can put me anywhere in the world and I'm going to like dogs more than people generally. They're just the best animals on the planet as far as I'm concerned.

reddaddiction

Yeah... On the r/sf sub there are usually some very vocal people that say that their day will be ruined if they're near a dog, but out there in public it seems like the vast majority of regular people are cool with it. Online it can paint a different picture.

reddaddiction

Cool. Thank you... I'll be checking out that list.

reddaddiction

I'm not trying to bum anyone out, and I do think that it's pretty lame to bring dogs into grocery stores. It was just a simple question about how friendly bars may be.

Screaming, "entitlement," is not what people are doing. Yes, there are some people who just don't care for dogs, but if the majority of people do in certain places then, well, that's not really entitlement.

It was simply an inquiry I had. Not trying to piss anyone off.

reddaddiction

Not here to argue, but I believe this was when Reagan was governor of California, not when he was president. And I don't think it's a fairy tale, people who were around at that time say that it was a clear difference in the amount of mentally ill people on the streets trying to fend for themselves.

reddaddiction

Literally my favorite spot when I'm up in Portland. I go there pretty much every day when I visit. It's the BEST.

reddaddiction

Thank You

reddaddiction

It's only gonna get worse. Brace yourselves.

reddaddiction

Totally. That's marketing, and in our passion the marketing is fucking brutal. I am one of those simple minded guys who when they find something they like, they only buy that. So, for me, I will ONLY buy RS Taichi for all of my protective equipment, save for track boots. They make sick road boots but no track. I wear Sidis and that's the only brand I will ever wear (unless RS Taichi makes something that is.) Never waver on good shit.

reddaddiction

It's worth it for watching pier runners... That alone makes it a good value.

reddaddiction

Dogshit. I only wear RS Taichi. A Stars is garbage unless you're on the pro team.

reddaddiction

If fast food joints opening up pique your interest then I'd suggest examining that.

San Francisco used to be filled with interesting people. I miss that shit.

reddaddiction

You thought that was good? I mean, I guess I ate a bunch of it there but it wasn't because I thought it was awesome. But it was cheap and not terrible, so I guess you're kinda right. I was always more of an Escape From New York guy.

reddaddiction

Why is this sub constantly posting about fast food crap? First it was Cane's down by the Wharf, then it was Joleebee, and now we're supposed to give two fucks about Sbarro replacing something?

Thank God this sub doesn't represent SF. Nobody from here gives a fuck about chains. Next thing we'll see is that it's a shame that Olive Garden isn't at Stonestown anymore.

reddaddiction

Where was it good? C'mon.

reddaddiction

What used to keep a few people out of SF was our weather. It's changed so much over the last 20 years or so. There were so few days that were sunny in by the beach, and now the Sunset and the Richmond are so mild.

Climate change is a hoax, though, I'm sure.

reddaddiction

Looking better and better. If this Anthropic/OpenAI shit does what I'm worried it's gonna do I might look for a second home.

reddaddiction

Barely a minute if I recall correctly.

reddaddiction

.001 seconds? How could I forget?
