How do you even manage these PowerOn hours? That little HDD was spinning for 150 days straight!

It took a lot of attempts to even get it to SMART status. It'll be getting an iFlash asap!

havent you seen the 32454 Start/Stops? that leaves more like a few minutes power on every time

How exactly does that work? I assume PowerOn is the total time the drive is spinning, and Start/Stop is the amount of times its spun up or slowed down?
This seems like it's been used a lot regardless.

Yeah poweronhours is how long it’s been spinning for like a prop planes hour meter, start stop is how many times it’s been spin up, and retracts is how many times it lost power causing an emergency head retract. Reallocs are sectors which are damaged and have been assigned to the spare area on the drive

Thanks for the great answer!

I wanted to say that it’s bugged because my other 6.5th gen had 3 Retracts but 5000 hours on (which was due to formatting issues and after reformatting, it was showing like 20) but those Reallocs show that this guy is REALLY tired…
