How much might this be worth?

Hello everyone!

I'm interested in trying to sell the above music box. I've seen it referred to as the "Fallen Mask" box with Christine and the Phantom. The tune is "The Music of the Night," and it is a San Francisco Music Box Company box from 1986.

The issue, as you can see, is that it was never stamped with its edition number. I bought it secondhand about 15 or so years ago, and unfortunately have no other verifying documentation for it.

I'm not expecting much from it if it were to sell, but I'm in need of any extra cash I can get at the moment.

I did reach out to the San Francisco Music Box Company to see if they might assist, but as they aren't the original owners and have no information on past pieces, they were unable to help.

If anyone has any advice, it would be much appreciated. Thanks!

(I'll post a video of the tune below.)

Thank you for your comment! I did see that a few have sold, but I suppose I'm wondering how much of a deterrent that lack of an edition number will be.

I can always just list it & see, though!

Is that pizza on her chest

Well, no! It's San Francisco Music Box Company's best reproduction of Christine's jeweled bodice.

The Music box isn’t from 1986. That’s just the copyright date for the musical itself. This piece dates from the early 2000s which is when a lot of Phantom, Gone with the Wind, and Wizard of Oz got music figures like this one.
