Smarthrom

I wish people would do more of these I always enjoy them! Great post!!

Razortoothmtg [OP]

I just really enjoy making them, and figure you guys might enjoy seeing them, so I always do! Just started a game as Egypt (with Senate III from a mod) that hopefully won't take too long to finish so I can post another one

R5- My Ethiopia game, where I got the Great Bath and did the thing. I was considering doing OCC, but I only had 2 workable floodplains tiles and both my two other cities had spots for +6 campuses and I couldn't say no to that lol.

I mostly play civilization games to enjoy narratives like this, thanks for the cool roller coaster ride though your game's history!

Razortoothmtg [OP]

Well, I tend to make these for every game I play, so they'll keep on coming

Big-Instruction6524

This is incredible! How do you make these?

Razortoothmtg [OP]

I just screenshot the mini map, load it into Gimp (or Photoshop if I had it), make a new layer, and trace the minimap basically

dannybloomfield

I'm loving these. You inspired me to finally make my first map

Razortoothmtg [OP]

Yay! It's really fun to do, so I'm glad I'm getting other people into it!

I would like these kind of posts to flood this subreddit. I got a giggle out of france agression and america trying to take over iceland. The cree basically got to live peacefully through most of this and it shows lmao.

Razortoothmtg [OP]

I love that Teddy was at war with iceland basically the whole game and took over his stuff very slowly, getting the capital right before the end of the game.

Harmonia5

Cool read, thanks!

Razortoothmtg [OP]

Thanks!

Great content! I've been hunting for stuff like this, I'd kill for a full story

1810072342

Stories like this sometimes crop up on r/civmaps, if you like those.

[deleted]

Thanks!

Razortoothmtg [OP]

Wdym a full story?

[deleted]

Like a full history book style telling of a game, I'd cream

Razortoothmtg [OP]

Ha, that'd be sweet but honestly I struggle to find enough things to write about just for this sometimes

[deleted]

I love your content I've been diving through civ maps! I'm sure it would take a ton of time and creativity that I myself do not have, but maybe (once I'm actually good at this one) I'll make it my own passion project one day

Razortoothmtg [OP]

Yeah, it's super fun to make them but I don't think I'm that smart to make anything much bigger lol

[deleted]

I'm sorry but who is romania. Is it a city state, or rome?

Edit; Are iceland, romania, etc mods you downloaded?

Razortoothmtg [OP]

It's a modded civ, so it's Romania

[deleted]

ok, thanks!

Razortoothmtg [OP]

I'm running a bunch of mods, the world is using detailed world's, Iceland and romania obviously, Senusret III as an alternate egypt, civitas city States, and a bunch more

Political-Geo123

Love these maps!

[deleted]

dope! how do u do this?

Razortoothmtg [OP]

Screenshot the minimap thing, load it into Gimp or Photoshop, and trace and color fill in a new layer

[deleted]

thanks! I wish more ppl did this I live the aesthetic of it

[deleted]

How do you get maps that sprawled out with different sized land masses. Seems like every time I try I get 2 continents on huge maps no matter what setting I use

Razortoothmtg [OP]

I'm using the detailed world's mod and larger map sizes

[deleted]

That's the one downside to playing on the switch - no mods. The plus side though is I'm playing out of the rv I'm living the year in.

Hyped_Train

Oh no. Its the third reich
