Merkur military field w/ Tritium?

Noticed this new release from Merkur. As English dial text goes, you could do much worse. It’s taking a lot of risks. I could see something like this coming from a micro brand. My initial impression is that the case, dial, and both bracelet or strap really look well thought out together. But what really sets it apart is “Swiss luminous tubes”.

Something new for the Tritium crowd?

Very cool Marathon officers watch homage

Nice find!
Tritium tube (if really are) are always welcome. Usually I would have commented "they managed to screw up the dial with shity text - move the arrow in Military place and just put T3" but I would not today :D.
Instead I have a pick with the movement. If auto was not possible, I would preferred an high beat quality quartz instead of an (possible crappy) manual wind movement.

Overall... looks good. Hope they come with more iterations in the future.
As a mil type watches junkie, I salute that more new homages of CWC & gang are starting to appear.

the m01d made in house by merkur is not crap. It's a very good, very simple movement, made by robotics and verified. It allows Merkur to produce reliable, durable and very good quality watches at a reasonable price.

When i asked the Merkur about the movement, they said "Our error is greater than the international standard, 19 jewels, 35-40 hours" what do you think?

Its a tongji movement. Basically it is a very reliable movement, economical to manufacture and robust but not recognized for its precision. They have improved the quality but it will never have cronometer precision. It's a tongji!

If it's actually tridium I will buy one if it is just super luminova in a tube that is really dumb

I wish someone would make one like this in a dive case. Like a marathon. I can’t believe no one has yet.

WatchThatTime

They’re just glass vials filled with luminous powder to simulate the look. Not actual tritium.

it does say "tritium - H3" on the dial.

kinda lame to write that if it's not actual tritium :/

And this is based on what insight? From the pictures (and lume shot) the tubes/markers look like proper tritium tubes, and the numerals are the ones using superluminova

WatchThatTime

Nah, just assuming. The tubes look to me too square to be legit.

They look identical to T tubes you'd find on a Ball watch to me

Please msg me if you find some more information on this. Highly interested in buying this watch.
