Tried something new

Been excited to try these out to see what all the hype was about.

I see a lot of the BR540 on social media and have never been able to smell it. After a night of researching I decided to give these 4 a try as far as testing goes.

I have not worn any of them yet but will start tomorrow. So far the Extrait BR540 and Amyris are my favorites. I’m not sure I can pull off the BR540 Extrait. It smells extremely sweet and I feel like it leans more feminine.

Grand Soir is POTENT. Smells very powdery for me which I usually don’t go for.

Which one are you grabbing from the lot? Any honorable mentions I should have tried instead? I probably should have got something completely different than 2 BR540s.

Wear them out with zero hesitation. Give them a fair shot. Also open air might make you less self aware on some of it. Also pt 2, powdery is elegant as f/ck.

They have so many, I didn't realize their was an Amyris Homme Extrait. I most likely will do another round of 4 after this batch before pulling trigger on any of them given the cost of them for full size bottles.

Completely understand. I think it also depends on how often you’ll wear them and how big your current collection is. I usually go for the smaller bottles and even those last me ages. I actually traded my small bottle of Oud Satin Mood with my sister for an 11ml because you only need a few sprays. The performance on that stuff is crazy.

Do you see yourself purchasing full bottles of any of these? I haven't smelled any MFKs but I've heard good things about the gentle fluidity line so maybe those are worth sampling too.

Love br540 extrait. Who cares if you can pull it off, wear the fragrance for yourself not for anyone else!
