"WalletHub."
"The firm compared 182 U.S. cities across five categories: family fun; health and safety; education and child care; affordability; and socioeconomics. The ranking used 45 metrics across those categories to score each city.
Among the five main categories, Plano ranked fourth in the country for socioeconomics, fifth for health and safety, seventh for affordability, 29th for education and child care and 74th for family fun.
While parents sometimes find it difficult to find affordable housing in the city, they celebrate its schools, quality of life, safety and convenience. What was once considered a suburban community is now an established city in its own right, with a population close to that of Orlando, Fla’s."

After moving into my partner's place in Rockwall a couple of years ago, I can tell you that Plano is simply night and day compared to how the meme city of Rockwall is managed. While my partner didn't want to move her children out of Rockwall due to having to start over and such, there might not be a more inconvenient place to live in the metroplex unless you went further east.
I live in Princeton, at least you guys have nice stuff in Rockwall to be stuck with. We have a Walmart and 6 nail places on the same block, that’s all.
And miles of traffic because this city is bursting at the seams and all the mayor cares about is how big the flag is.
I raised two kids in Plano. As parents, and as per my kids, Plano is NOT one of the best places to raise kids. We lived there for 17 years. Kids went through elementary through high school because it was labeled as having some of the top schools in the state. That was a myth.
I didn't have any issues. Turned out to be a successful engineer.
I didn’t say my kids weren’t successful. But glad that’s the first place that you went. awkward
Ok.
