Is the new dspark technology available via deepseek API?

Are they already serving DSv4 with dspark via the API? I've seen anecdotal reports of people noticing faster inferencing, but haven't seen any official word on if the "dspark" flavor of deepseek is currently in production

edit: remove question if "instance" setting in webui was related to dspark. It's not

The instant and expert has been there since the V4 preview release. Dspark is an add on essentially, not a new model. They both already use it in the chat and API for both flash and pro

Very cool. Do you remember where you saw they're using it in production?

And makes sense about the different modes, that was kinda thinking out loud. I'll edit that bit out.

You can read there paper. They say "throughput per request generation speed under measured traffic" so if that doesn't scream "we have evaluated based on the deepseek chat and API" I don't know what will lol.

In no way does that indicate it's currently being used in production lol

That's why it was so damn fast even being so big, compared to other model I use
