Aim assist is overtuned
Just had a game where a PS5 player could hit me from 200+m from MK1-Alpha and I could not hit them with a DMR, simply because they had aim-assist.

Nonsense. Please explain how to tune my aim assist to effortlessly beam players at 200m with an MK. It only goes to 100%, and at 100% it's hardly noticeable at all. This overtune doesn't exist, my friend.
It's a hack. You're being killed by cheaters with cheats, not by console players with aim assist. Learn to recognize what is and is not possible, and report these lowlife cheaters.

PS5 got broken aim assist, because on consoles it's still tied to FPS. Yep, it's at least 2 times stronger there than on PS4 or Xbox Series X.

Really? That's news to me, but I can believe it. Everyone seems to make such a big deal about aim assist, but to me it's so soft that it's barely noticeable. I know that it can be wildly overturned on pc when using a controller and has been like that for years, but it kinda makes sense that at least one console has the same thing going on, otherwise nobody would complain about consoles.
Like, there's heaps of cheaters, but maybe not every aimbot guy you see is cheating. Makes sense.

They nerfed it on PC but not on next gen consoles. I’ve been controller on PC for two years and played ps5 yesterday I could not believe how strong the aim assist is. It’s ridiculously strong on ps5. On PC it’s virtually nonexistent. Also the guns on console have far less recoil than PC in addition to the stronger aim assist.

Aim assist on PC is very weak. It's aim assist on console that's the problem. Aim assist on PC hasn't been strong for years now.
