Glock 49 Gen 6 Released.
What are your thoughts? Price is a bit steep. I know they had to pay extra import taxes or just more $ for these actual Glocks.

Glock already tried the G49 in the United States and it failed miserably.
Why?
Because anybody who wanted a full size slide on a midsize frame chopped the grip on a cheap police trade in G17, G22, G31, G21, G20 over the last 25 years 😂

No , because timing could not have been worse with all the 'new' model releases / old discontinations and knowledge of the soon to be gen 6 release . For those who just want one glock it's a viable option . All it really is , is a g19+1/2'' / or a 17 with a smaller hand grip that takes 15 &17 mags

The G49 was discontinued long before any discussion of any other models being discontinued. It was a complete failure.
The 17 people who wanted one, bought one.

They have it re-released it for the United States market. This is just Wacky Lenny doing an import.
If somebody wanted a G49 at a "normal" price, there are still online dealers who have the Gen5 version in stock (I played with a Gen 6 frame and actually prefer the Gen 5 feel over it).

You're right there - It's way overpriced , it's actually a 19 in reality. I have the 49.6 and prefer the ergos of the Gen 6 . At the end of the day it's a Glock and it's going to prob end up in the US shortly anyway , there seems to possibly be a small market for it !
