We saw Nightmare Fuel a few years back, but haven't returned because of the seating situation. Got (literally) squeezed in between some really sweaty and not so pleasantly smelling people. Really considering checking out this year's show when we go to HHN next week, but wanted to know how much breathing room (if any) we can expect. Also, which showing usually has the least amount of people?

The seating and capacity are big reasons why we skip the show 9 times out of 10. I’d rather get in another house or two than wait around and get crammed into uncomfortable bleachers where it’s suffocatingly hot

They make everyone on the ends scoot in toward the middle to make room for others, so I wouldn't count on this plan

Unless you care about being close to the stage, I'd say yeah.
ETA: we did see a family get turned away because they had someone in a wheelchair and there were no more accessible seats available, so make sure you're not too late to get seats though
The scoot you all the way down to the end of the row where it meets the stairs. Camping out and getting towards the front of the holding area is the best bet. You can also risk if by being one of the last ones in and you def will get an end seat but no guarantee on where in the stadium that would be.
Aint nobody dry or smelling good after waiting in line in the heat for hours, but I get what you are saying, I didn’t end up seeing Nightmare Fuel because we wanted to do as many houses as we could but if you are literally squeezed against people maybe it was a good thing we missed it, at least we could hear it a little bit as we walked past
Have you…ever been in bleacher style stadium seating anywhere ever where they don’t pack you in? It’s a wildly popular show, it would make zero sense to only fill to 75% capacity to give people breathing room lol

Yeah, you really do bring up a good point. It would appear that if we really want some breathing room we'll have to find a way to sit on the very edge.
Yes and someone got slapped at the 11 o clock show last night because there knees were touching this guys wife’s back lol
We were at that show! Didn’t notice that but there were 2 couples sitting together on the left side being obnoxious. Security was already talking to them as we were walking in and they hung out near them the whole pre show. Lady even started standing up and dancing in the middle of the show
Just FYI... I wore my Bill and Ted shirt to HHN this year. On our tour, I had several RIP guides tell us this was the last year for Nightmare Fuel and there were rumors that B&T was coming back.

Guessing it won’t be similar to the B&T show of the past. Way outdated. Most who are familiar with that movie are living in senior communities or soon will be. Fire, athleticism, and dancing are what is popular now…not cringe political jokes.

No, it'll have to be at least 6. One on both sides, two in the front, and two behind. Sorry, wife is rather claustrophobic, but wants to see the show as she also works in entertainment and wants to support the performers. I'm trying to do what I can to ease her anxiety.
You can try getting there early and talking to a team member, find one who seems compassionate and explain the situation, I've had friends helped out before by being kind and asking. You're not trying to skip lines, you have a legitimate concern and are trying to find a solution.
Personally, after seeing it these last years, I'm bored of the show and ready for something new. There are great tricks, but that doesn't make a show for me and I think prior years were better. So if it doesn't work out you're not missing much. Just my opinion though.
