Freedom doesn’t exist? Black folks used to be killed if caught trying to learn to read or write. Women in Muslim countries are killed regularly for refusing to wear hijab or converting to Christianity or being gay.

Why is “trans” included in the title when there is already a “T” in LGBT?

Guns are banned in NYC yet around a thousand people are shot in the city every year.

Renters will also likely respond by voting no for decades on things that don’t affect them..:especially school levies. Most renters don’t have kids so why pay for schools?

Seems most organizations for the disabled are like that…from personal experience as a disabled person.

If going the speed limit or matching traffic and there is heavy traffic, it makes no sense to reduce capacity of the road by over a third so a few people can break the law speeding an an otherwise empty lane.

Helicopters are no longer used by any station around where I used to live after a terrible news helicopter crash. All stations agreed to end that style of reporting. Nobody misses it. Traffic reports use camera mounted on poles on the highways. I actually thought nobody in the country used news helicopters anymore. I looked it up and an article states that 16 have died in news helicopter crashes since 2000. None of them were necessary. Should be left to hospital flights and search and rescue.

His debt wasn’t paid yet because he was on probation. The debt doesn’t end until probation ends. He was explained this by his probation officer and the documents he signed. He was explained this when he registered to vote. He was warned multiple times yet ignored it all.

As someone with very long hair who loves amusement parks, this is absolutely reportable news. I see far too many ladies not tie their hair back for safety. A child at the local state fair was scalped some years ago. I saw a video recently online of a woman completely scalped on a Ferris wheel. This woman was wearing a scarf and ignored by a male employee and died. Awareness is needed so ladies can be educated on the dangers of free flowing long hair. I’ve seen small catches and it makes me so nervous. These ladies are oblivious and all it takes is the wrong type of catch and death or scalping will happen.

Person in article left Cuba in 2016.

They are sent to these countries in this manner to act as a deterrent for everyone else. Fact is these people were given a chance to go to their home country voluntarily with a free plane ticket and few thousand dollars in cash plus can take everything they own back with them in luggage or sell for cash and take money home that way. That’s what the government wants. These people can voluntarily fly home even to Cuba but countries can refuse forced extradition for criminals and whatnot. So the conditions will be terrible with the point of sending a message to sell and go home or indefinite purgatory in a third-world African country. Tossing people back over the Mexican border wasn’t a deterrent for re-entry attempts so now it’s being flown to a country worse than where they left. The cruelty is the point and the current government will do it as long as it takes to deter illegal entry, overstaying visas, and refusing final orders of deportation or loss of TPS status. I wouldn’t be hopeful for a regime change next election either. Too many are happy with what is happening.

This is a list of Black farmers. Nowhere does it mention support of a political party. Seems assumptions are being made that people vote based on their skin color.

Canadians are by far the largest group of tourists to Cuba…a country so oppressive they don’t allow their own citizens to leave the island freely.
Fewer Canadians means cheaper domestic travel for Americans. I was finally able to visit Key West last year when prices dropped due to wealthy foreigners staying away. Florida doesn’t need more tourism and a hundred new resort hotels built every year.

Click-bait headline. Should read “Two unvaccinated people have died….”.

Should citizens be exempt from taxes that pay for everything related to educating, housing, processing, and giving free food, medical care, and other social services to illegals? Who would pay for ESL classes in schools then?
The issue with illegals is usually first-generation is highly motivated and will do awful jobs many Americans don’t want to donbut second and later generation is just as lazy as regular Americans. Would be better for our economy to give temporary visas and a few decades of sending home remittances and they retire in their home country and let the next generation of hard workers in also for a temporary time period.

Most are adults. This is about post-secondary education. International students and those from out-of-state whose parents haven’t paid into the system for 18 years via taxes are charged about triple the cost to reflect the true cost of attendance. Guessing these adults can apply as international students, obtain the appropriate visa, and pay unsubsidized international tuition rates the same as Americans would pay if studying abroad. None of the countries these illegals are coming from allow Americans to attend their schools at local tuition rates and attend in unlimited numbers based only on test scores.

Most seem young enough to not have kids yet. Curious how many flip sides once their biological clock becomes loud enough and they settle down and have kids and bills and real responsibilities. College for All doesn’t sound so appealing when you are struggling to pay your mortgage and screaming college students protesting every weekend demand for their underwater basket weaving degrees with room board be free. Are 90% flipping their vote to conservative by 30 years old? How long does this phase last?

From comments here it seems they aren’t cycling clear and instead just are stopping? Super strange. Disney doesn’t maintain extra busses but instead pulls from existing routes. Mouse won’t spend a penny extra unless mandated and even then often won’t. Reedy Creek was one of the biggest supporters of DeSantis taking over in the beginning because they hoped it would force Disney to improve safety on the Skyliner and other areas.

I grew up the child of Boomers and know that Gen Z has it better off in every metric, which is why they are so spoiled and soft and unwilling to work and save money. They want the retirement lifestyle immediately upon graduating from their posh universities. Boomers were drafted and shipped to Vietnam after high school. Over 10% were wounded, 3% came back in coffins. One of my earliest memories was learning what shrapnel was and how it hurt people.
Gen Z grew up with luxury vehicles…personal tvs they watch while sitting in their booster seats with packaged snacks being shuffled to every extra curricular activity possible. Seat warmers, phones with curated music lists.
Boomers didn’t have seatbelts growing up and their first cars didn’t have AC or FM radio stations. Their kids (me included) didn’t have $1000 gaming systems. We played out in the streets and woods and used our imaginations and two old sheet to make our clubhouse. We wore hand-me-downs and our moms shopped for new toys at garage sales. We only ate out a couple times per year, not a couple times per week like Gen Z.
Gen Z would be swimming in cash if they adopted the lifestyle Boomers grew up with and their early career years. Let’s not forget the oil crisis and reducing all speed limits to 55mph max. Gen Z wouldn’t like that at all.

54% of male “brown” voters voted for Trump. Black male voters voted at a much higher percent for Trump this past election than his first one, gaining 8% of the vote. 58% of all Florida Latino voters voted for Trump this past election…55% in Texas.

Most queer folk did. In the few social groups I’m in, there isn’t much support for trans women being allowed in women’s sports or JK Rowling bashing. The vast majority of queer folk…especially anyone older than college-age…are very content with marriage rights and not being discriminated in housing and employment.
You just hear all the young loud non-binary and trans active on social media because they are still in school without jobs and responsibilities. They havent settled down with a career and life partner.
There’s a massive divide and actual pushback that the right usually doesn’t see. Lesbians are being called bigots for not wanting to date trans women. The alphabet soup is not all one big happy family.

Activists don’t represent average gay folk. I got my marriage certificate and we turned into the same boring couple as most straight marriages. Never been to a Pride march before or after or worn anything rainbow but that marriage license helped when my wife’s cancer came back and eventually killed her.
Most queer folk and couples I know are not much different than straight couples. Marriage adds stability and has reduced all the alcoholism that I grew up around from family and society rejection and living in fear of being outed and loosing one’s job. Zero alcoholism now and it’s not a big deal mentioning a same-sex partner. So much more relationship stability too.
What you see on social media isn’t the vast majority of gay folk. It’s time to separate the activists who make it their entire identity and want to remain professional activists from normal gay people who happen to be born gay just like people are born a certain skin color.

Should be corrected that the river was a “no swimming allowed” river that the woman was swimming in.
Being a victim is all the rage on college campuses. Most have never struggled a day in their life. They’ve never experienced real discrimination so they make up micro aggressions.
