The last hydra ss in existence? How so?
It took me forever to find one available. Figured they were discontinued. In this color at least.
I picked up a Hydra SS two weeks ago. They are still out there. My LGS still has another one. I also paired mine up with a MKIV.
I have that same purple pistol of supreme awesomeness but I never thought to get a rainbow suppressor. Well done.
As a Hydra SS owner... I wouldn't buy another. Hopefully yours came with the updated end cap. The original was an embarrassing mistake.
What happened to yours ?
Original end cap locked on the first time I shot it because the inner edge was too thin and the indexing marks on the baffles got pushed into it. It happened to a lot of people and it was extremely poor design work and clearly wasn't even tested. You should also know that although it's sold as a full steel/titanium can, the end cap is aluminum. So good luck ever cleaning it fully.
