Help me pick. LMT/Geissele

Looking to pick one up before the mass banning of "assault" weapons here in VA.

Pistol/Rifle will live most its life with a suppressor on it. Recently Acquired a 10.5" LWRC MKII which will live with suppressor on it. High chance it will be SBRd.

All around SHTF rifle/pistol. Both 12.5" variant. I love the FDE on the G$ and prefer the monolithic upper on the LMT.

My first AR ever was a LMT Standard Patrol? About 18 years ago.

Damn…the dominoes (states) are really falling. Snap-up whatever you can afford. This is coming from a guy in Illinois, who recently was denied the ability to buy a stubby VFG. It’s a prohibited “AR-15 part”. The ban states are really locking things down. If it was me, I’d go for the LMT.
