I recently got BiS DeathKnight gear, and wow, DeathKnight is really good!

I'm still working through the Inn and learning different classes, so my opinion isn't an expert one, but I'm finding DeathKnight to be REALLY strong. I know he got buffed very recently, I didn't play him before then.

I have Pyro, KAA, Archivist (I know that these classes are supposed to be able to easily beat the Inn), and ofc all the story classes, but I was still really struggling on Unending Empires (Noxus/Sek), so I decided to farm DeathKnight for a change of pace because I saw he has great light/dark resist. And once I got the items, I tried Unending Empires and easily cleared it - I was very surprised at how simple it was killing Noxus in first rotation and then killing Sek-Duat. People say Techno is best for this but I can't imagine it being easier than with DeathKnight!

I then tried Conquest & Faith (Braytes San/Yalla) and easily cleared that too! Then Tainted Time, Failed Doom, and Baleful Brothers all basically first time too. I probably could have done these 3 with my other classes, but I didn't try because I did not feel confident enough before but the power of DeathKnight made me confident and it was again surprisingly easy. His defences are a lot better than I thought because of the high uptime on the -boost, -bonus ability.

If you haven't tried him before/since the buffs, I highly recommend you do because he is very fun to play IMO. Feel free to share your experiences playing him!

Yeah, deathknight can be quite strong as it is a often able to out tank a lot of bosses, though it struggles with dps races, HoT or nuke heavy bosses.

Personally prefer chaos weaver and bulwark dragon with deathknight as an occasional use for certain bosses where the class just makes them easier.

Gotta start somewhere and unending empires are the best places to use deathknight in

It certainly feels incredibly strong! I just rechecked the buff design notes and they pretty much buffed DeathKnight across the board, was huge.

Thats the same story with me. Once you got all DK relics you can take on Unending empires immediately for a 10 all belt. The old DK took 2 rotation vs each boss, but now they both die to 1 rotation plus some chip damage. Coinflipping to stun each would greatly speed up the process. I too find it much easier than techno
