[Rev-Share] Looking for C# Programmer with Unity Experience to Optimize/Finish Development on Exo One
I'm nearing completion on Exo One (www.exo-one-game.com), where players pilot an alien craft on a gravity defying, interplanetary journey.
It was successfully Kickstarted early last year: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/exbleative/exo-one-0/description
...and shown at a number of events including EGX Rezzed in London and Day of the Devs in San Francisco. It has received some quite positive press as well.
In my latest Kickstarter update I outline my needs for a programmer: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/exbleative/exo-one-0/posts/2356280
Details are in that post, and pasted below:
"A programmer will help improve and polish many of the game's systems, make it run faster, and due to some of the level design changes I'm making, the camera system could really use a bit of an upgrade. Furthermore, after talking with a publisher in London, I'm thinking more and more that I'd like to see the game on consoles. So a coding partner with experience there would be a huge help as well.
If that's you, or you know someone who could help, I'm very interested to get in touch. I'm not in the position to pay a wage, so it would be for revenue share only. I understand this is something not many people can do. On the plus side, you'd be looking at a project nearing completion for a relatively short time frame, with promising pre-launch press coverage, and know exactly what the game will be.
Skills/experience I'm after:
- C# Programmer
- Able to dedicate 2-3 days a week minimum, on a rev share only basis
- Minimum 2-3 years professional Unity game development experience, with at least one title released on PC or console
- 3D Camera/Cinemachine skills
- Performance optimization experience
- Bonus: Some shader knowledge
- Bonus: Porting to consoles
If you can help out, please email me at [email protected] with a cover letter, your resume, work experience and examples of your work.
