I miss this hat - where to find something like it?

This was made by Goorin Bros in the mid 20-teens and I’ve never been able to find a satisfying replacement. Panama-ish material I think but wide brim and a narrow leather band. Slightly western vibe.

Any ideas?

Isn't it just a panama hat with a wide brim? I'm pretty sure all my Stetson panama hats have had those proportions. And if you need the prim to be flat, you can just iron it at a low heat.

Check out the Stetson Tallahassee. Tall fedora crown with wide brim in straw. Been wearing mine in Florida for a few years now.

They haven’t made this one in years. There’s something similar in white, but it’s just not the same to me.

A straw Open Road could be a good replacement. The proportions are a bit different but it walks the line between western and fedora very nicely. Other than that, maybe just a Panama hat with a straight brim vs downturned?
