what... no butter dipping sauce? weak
I heard that in Dr. Doofenschmertz' voice.
I have just three thangs to say about that:
arf, arf, arf :)
I ate two 1/2 lb cheeseburgers for dinner. Weighed in at ~169. I'm sure I will weigh 166 or 167 in the morning. Just like yesterday and the day before.
I had a bowl of cucumber slices marinated a few hours in vinegar on the side.
And a mix of strawberries, almonds, flax seed, and whipped cream for dessert.
So ... a pounder. I could go for that right now.
Something similar my dad made for dinner the other night. 2 patties (113g not sure what %-pounder that is), 2 eggs, bacon, 2 cheese singles and using large flat mushrooms as burger buns. 900 odd calories, I can't remember the macros unfortunately!
I'm like newborn baby new to keto so forgive my ignorance but isn't that a lot? I know meat and dairy are crucial in the keto diet but are three patties good for one meal? Not trying to offend, just genuinely curious. I gotta learn how to eat better and I'm confused by this picture lol
He said it was his only meal for the day. So it fits his macros.
Thank you!
I'm intermittent fasting. I tend to eat large portions so it helps me when I have a limited time of day in which to consume my macros. There's also other benefits to intermittent fasting.
Needs bacon.

Same here, if that is 80/20 ground beef. Looks like nearly 1500 calories right there with the three slices of cheese, but not nearly enough protein to meet my goals. Looks amazing though!

I think the burgers are 300 calories each and the cheese are 100 calories each. Should be around 1200 calories

Hmm they could be depending on the actual brand you used. I'd follow whatever the nutritional facts say on the packaging. I was using USDA numbers.

It is my entire calorie load for the day lol

Certainly looks like 90g of fat, at least, if not 100g. That would be almost the whole day for me in one meal.

No, I would say most ketoers eat 2-3 meals a day.

All the ones I know of do intermittent fasting. I'm unsure how you can eat 2-3 times a day when you're fully adapted. Hard to eat more than once for me
