I recently made a IPA website – Thoughts and Suggestions?
Edit 2: I grinded this morning V1.02 is out now it should automaticly update when you visit the site. It now has status, description, last updated and file size. Styling updates will come later.
Edit: Thank you all so much for the positive feedback! I'm definitely going to keep working on this project. A few of you mentioned adding app descriptions—that's planned for the next update. I don't have an exact ETA yet, but I'll either make a new post or update this one when it's ready.
I'm also planning to improve the design in the next update, along with adding a version selector and a "last updated" stat for apps. It might be ambitious to fit all of this into one update, but I’ll do my best. In future updates, I’m aiming to add support for other sideloading tools beyond TrollStore (though you can already download the IPA and sideload it manually).
Hey Reddit,
I recently created a small side project using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with OnsenUI. It’s a UI for installing IPA files from this repository: TrollStore-IPAs. The project is also a Progressive Web App (PWA), so you can easily add it to your home screen by selecting "Share" and then "Add to Home Screen."
You can check it out here: KittenStore.
I have a couple of questions for you all:
- Do you know of any other sideloading tools that support URL schemes?
- What improvements would you suggest (whether design, functionality, or anything else)?
- Should I continue working on this, or is it better to move on to something else?
Thanks for your time!

I would suggest that you include a description of what the app does and what the mod for the app does as well.
Edit: For convenience, a link to the app’s appstore page would also be very helpful.

You mean like a link to the original app on the appstore?

Yes.

For that i whould need acces to the app store api and for that you need an apple developer account which cost 100$ a year. I want to keep this side project free forever without any ads and just keep it a nice user experience. So i am sorry I can’t implement that

Going to the app store, selecting the app, tapping the share button on the right side and copying the link to that app and putting it up on your site needs an apple dev account?
Like this?

No i mean if i want to do that id manually need to do that for each app in the entire library with about Idk like 100+ apps that’s gonna be a hell of a lot of work and the repo gets updated everyday so that’s not super possible. Id need an apple dev account to automate the process
