I don’t disagree with you. The Joe trade was more an emotional PTSD than logical. Watching a healthy Joe on the sideline for an NFC Championship is a memory that I can recall with vivid detail.

Y’know, I think the reason the Lance trade never had an emotional impact on me, is because A.) It never felt like he was an NFL Quarterback, and B.) We had just gone to the Super Bowl, & the QB who helped us get there was still on the roster.

Lance, at the time, kind of felt like a trade we made with house money.

I MAAAY…have had a minor “fuck…naaah…wait…fuck” series of thoughts.

Thankfully a non NFCW post was in my feed, and it said the trade was for Nelson.

— For the record, if the Seahawks do ever acquire Taylor via trade? This admission of how my morning went never happened.
