GIRL IN THE TOWERRRRRR IM REACHINGG OUTTT PLEASE TELL ME WHAT TO DOOOO
Also I don’t actually think KQ8 is the best one but I do think it’s the one that maps most to DS2 for being weird and unique and experimental

Dang I didn't know it was survivable in any context. That's cool though!

I'm so glad I had the volume off, he looks like he has a terrible voice

Iwana bōzu, AKA the char priest
OneAndOnlyTinkerCat
Came down here to say this. His life was absolutely wild and he was almost certainly not a good person.

Link's Awakening has the most interesting ending of any Zelda game and if they were going to choose any one game to adapt into a movie I'd want it to be that one. Other than that, TotK has phenomenal emotional payoff and ALttP has that super nostalgic slideshow, so those are my other top picks.

You don't need the torch to beat the tutorial.

I believe the strongest spike in terms of kill power is indeed Luigi's down taunt, since it kills very consistently at 0%. But I'd also like to mention Arceus, when you get it from the Pokeball or Masterball items. I don't think I've ever seen someone survive it, and it has by far the biggest hitbox too.

Yes. Although poison is easier to come by for most players

That’s an interesting take. I hadn’t gotten the impression that Lea willingly allowed it to happen. I’d thought she was simply too tired to fight any longer.

There are a lot of enemies that do special things if you hit them with certain elements.
The small Miranda Sprouts that cause madness will explode if you hit them with fire, as will any miners carrying explosive stone.
Land squirts (poison-spewing sea-cucumber things) can be poisoned to overload them and make them burst. That works on all land squirts of all sizes.
Imps, Burial Watchdogs, Guardian Golems, and Golem Smiths can be made to “malfunction” with crystal darts, making them attack all nearby enemies indiscriminately.
Shield-bearing Silver Tears freeze up if you hit them with certain attacks, such as explosive great bolts, but this one seems like a bug instead of an intended mechanic.

I’ve always been on the “immersive RPG” side. Why would I play this game I love if I was going to skip parts of it? I want to go on the adventure.

Yeah fr

Ok, these are both AI images, but the point is still true: autumn in New England is drop-dead gorgeous.
OneAndOnlyTinkerCat
Which is a shame because Order of Ecclesia fuckin rules and Shanoa is maybe the most interesting protagonist of a CV game to date

the huge buge

I didn’t say they were adding too much content. I said the content they were adding wasn’t always to my tastes. Either way, though, the fact that content is skippable means little when it comes to critique.
OneAndOnlyTinkerCat
I think you and I are talking about two different conversations. You’re talking about what pre-defined content should come into Minecraft, and I’m talking about discussing what purposes the dimension needs to fill before we even know anything.
OneAndOnlyTinkerCat
I don't like this line of thinking. There is never anything wrong with speculating about what the game needs for you, as the player, to keep playing.

Choosing to not do the adventure elements means you're denying yourself a lot of the content in the game. The sandbox elements are always going to be more optional than the adventure elements, so surely it's better for the adventure elements to serve the sandbox elements, no? And for the most part Mojang has still been quite good about this; most progression moves ultimately towards new blocks/materials to build with. With that in mind, it wouldn't be wrong to say that the Sift will at the very least give us a lot of building materials, and that's always a good thing. But a new dimension is a lot heavier than that.

It was by far the best choice. There was no other character who was half as in demand and half as warranted.
Dawn above Aria is kinda crazy ngl
