Hi, I have drug-induced aphantasia that was brought on by one of the medications I used to take, I haven't gotten it back (despite being off of the medication that triggered it for multiple years now). Literally can't see anything in my head.

Have you tried starting with bases? They get a bad rap but I genuinely think that bases (that are intended to be used as bases) are a great starting point for a lot of people who are just trying to get their ideas down, and it's a lot less daunting than starting with a blank page.

This was 2008, this is exactly the reasoning.

Just an FYI, google translate is AI now too and I have personally had it give random bullshit completely unrelated to what I wanted to translate it to, and I would have no idea if I wasn’t already somewhat familiar with the language. It’s genuinely bad enough that I’ve flat-out just stopped using it because I can’t trust it.

I just say the dates, no ambiguity there.

Acetone destroys nitrile from my experience, though it doesn’t look like this at all, it just gets weak and stretches out before breaking/shredding.

...It was only two posts?? Don't know how that results in your feed being flooded. There's an art flair on this subreddit, makeup is an artform, it should be allowed here, especially since they were specifically connected to birds. I've seen people posting bird related and inspired clothing here in the past which is comparable.

I miss blackplayer (which is barely maintained anymore so I gave up on it), but musicolet is pretty good and I do like using it for my mix of ripped CDs, bandcamp purchases, and albums I sailed the seas for.

I had luck with getting a refurbished apple pencil pro direct from apple a few months back, it's still on the more expensive end but if they're in stock I feel it's worth it to avoid the hassle of getting a fake one. (I unfortunately don't see them in stock right now, hopefully they restock soon).

For people who are newer to linux, I’ve always shared this tutorial for installing Rstudio on specifically Chromebooks. Just tested it on my own as it was last updated in 2025, and it still works, the only thing different you need to do is change the filename of the Rstudio deb file in the commands to the filename of the version you would download in step 5.

You can’t double click to install .deb files anymore on ChromeOS, but they can still be installed in the command line. If you get any errors in R about missing a dependency, you’ll likely just be able to apt install it directly (just be sure to read the error messages in Rstudio so you know which ones they are) without needing to worry about adding more repositories.

The usb-c apple pencil doesn’t have pressure sensitivity unfortunately.

Borealis is dead and has been dead for about 10 months now.

They’ve been posting here on Reddit! u/luckyclan

Developer is still active, they’re about to release a new major version so they’ve been busy (Last update from them on that was 10 days ago that they’re aiming for release at the end of the year).

It’s the screen adhesive, unfortunately looks like it’s degraded enough to leak out. I currently have an old touchscreen lenovo chromebook which is starting to leak too (though not enough to get outside the device, it does have air bubbles underneath the screen). A keyword to google to find other cases is LOCA (liquid optically clear adhesive)

They didn’t require this when I had an iPad shipped less than 3 months ago.

My bird bath is a serving dish I found at a thrift store, placed on a folding table that we have our grill on, they use it a lot, but naturally they greatly prefer the puddle that forms on the folding table under the grill after it rains directly next to the dish much more than the dish.

From what I read all there was for Spore was the release version and a manifest file, nothing development related. I haven’t seen any information about GA, which would be the mostly likely to have anything, but I’m assuming it’s more of the same.

And finally, where do we request new features now that the forum is gone? I think it'd be cool if one of the devs could manage/organize the Subreddit a bit more and maybe pin important updates, feature requests, and bug reports threads to the top as "Community Highlights".

I just want to quickly say that this subreddit to not ran by the devs (though they show up every now and again here!) The best way currently to contact Lucky Clan is through their email through the “send feedback” option in the app, and while they do pop in every so often, you’re much more likely to get their attention in email vs here.

except the touches are the dirt cheap ones now (because nobody wants to replace their batteries), it's the iPod classics which are going for insane prices.

If my chromebooks can be updated to it I’ll try it, but I‘m not interested enough to buy a new device for it.

I have that exact clock, it actually runs fast over time, I gave up setting it back every time I noticed and currently it runs 36 minutes fast.

I have used google slides to make flags before. Affinity is free too and is quite powerful.

The image in question has synthID visible to the naked eye on the flat colors (looks like really funky image compression) which is proof enough that it was generated with either gemini or chatgpt, most likely chatgpt.

Generally, if any account cold-dms you asking if you want to buy a commission/asking for money from you, you should be wary. We have no specific accounts as they constantly make new ones and there are hundreds of them.
