It's just there to help you follow the directions better - the "popcorn" label is there so you know which button not to use.

I would like to know of any optical spectroscopy results from observations of unknown drones in NJ and/or UAP. Optical spectroscopy should immediately reveal the nature of such light sources with strong implications for their origin, whether LEDs, gas discharge, plasma, combustion, blackbody emission, etc etc

Most definitely bring the PC and any instruments you like to use regularly!

While you won't likely have much storage space in on-campus dorms, and bulkier items you aren't sure you'll use might thus be best left at home initially, items like a gaming or graphics PC and musical instruments that are a big part of your life will both continue to be very important to you, and will also provide a wonderful opportunity to share your interests with all your new friends.

Congrats and have a blast at Stanford your freshman year!

Wow. That's the first thing that came to mind for me, too.

Nice! Really makes the room pop.

I was in the same boat after a decade of vaping (following a decade of smoking), but then I discovered I could fairly easily switch from vaping to simply dabbing a drop of nicotine liquid on my inner lip. Cravings disappear in about 30 seconds.

To save my lungs and let them heal, I did that for several years instead of smoking. It's a similar effect to the gum - it delivers plenty of nicotine, so the cravings are satisfied, but it takes slightly longer to hit your brain, and is thus a bit less addictive (and a bit easier to quit eventually).

After a few years, I was able to taper off the liquid gradually by making it less and less concentrated, until I was in the habit of dabbing my lip with flavored liquid with no nicotine in it. At that point I was able to switch to altoids :)

"People of Earth, your attention, please. This is Prostetnic Vogon Jeltz of the Galactic Hyperspace Planning Council. As you will no doubt be aware, the plans for development of the outlying regions of the Galaxy require the building of a hyperspatial express route through your star system."
...

"There’s no point in acting surprised about it. All the planning charts and demolition orders have been on display at your local planning department in Alpha Centauri for 50 of your Earth years, so you’ve had plenty of time to lodge any formal complaint and it’s far too late to start making a fuss about it now. ... What do you mean you’ve never been to Alpha Centauri? Oh, for heaven’s sake, mankind, it’s only four light years away, you know. I’m sorry, but if you can’t be bothered to take an interest in local affairs, that’s your own lookout. Energize the demolition beams."

I'm *so* glad I got the tempered glass screen protector - a couple weeks ago I was cleaning the inside windshield and my steel watch strap banged the corner of the screen, and chipped the screen protector, leaving the screen intact (phew!). (I've also heard some folks have chipped their unprotected screens with big keyrings, handbag buckles, etc, and chips can lead to cracks, and it's thousand of $$$ to replace). I got the $17 Topflight tempered glass one <here>, and have been very happy with it - it has a nice oleophobic coating, easy to clean and has a slick smooth tactile feel just like the unprotected screen.

Excellent, thank you so much!! :)

Had you just opened the reservoir in the morning, or was the fluid reservoir left open with the funnel in it overnight?

That's what she said. It's one of her preferences. She wanted to be challenged and intellectually provoked, and was promised that that would make it more realistic.

To help with those red/green charging LEDs, I use a fine-point red Sharpie marker to draw an "X" directly on the LED lens. When the LED is lit red, the X is invisible, and when it turns green, the X shows clearly. This doesn't help much with amber/yellow/orange modes if they exist, though.

Alas it was yet is no more.
