Sounds like it sold enough that it should have a next gen upgrade and/or PC port.

We now consider this anniversary version of Half Life to be the definitive version, and the one we'll continue to support going forward. Therefore, we'll be reducing the visibility of Half Life: Source on the Steam Store. We know Half-Life: Source's assets are still being used by the Source engine community, so it'll remain available, but we'll be encouraging new Half-Life players to play this version instead.

Good to see they are still fixing it but man is it weird the amount of strange crashes it could have. Stuff like a high DPI mouse, saving photos in 4K, etc.

I played it near launch and thankfully I was crash free until the DLC, in which a crash would occur at a certain spot if you were using an alternate shirt for Ellie.

And hopefully the CPU/GPU optimizations help for those without high end systems.

Also curious to see how it is on the steam deck now.
