I disagree.
The majority of my loved ones who are pro-science enough to donate their bodies to universities would not want their bodies going to support the military in any capacity.

That makes you sound pretty damn lazy, to be honest. Sometimes we have to do small things that take effort for the betterment of others.
Did you not experience any of those extra millions of deaths like the rest of us?

Didn't I just read that a new, zero-click virus was released within the last couple weeks? I want to say it was out of Israel.
Yeah. This is rom Oct 16th:
But Thursday's report marks the first time researchers have documented how "zero-click" spyware attacks can be enabled by targeted ads, Citizen Lab says.
"Zero-click" means that users don't need to click on a link or actively do anything for their devices to be targeted with spyware.

I just want to highlight that although many children who commit COCSA have themselves been abused, the vast majority of children who are SAd do not go on to commit SA.
It's an important distinction that often gets conflated.

Golf courses use 3x the amount of water of all data centers put together.
Aren't golf courses known for being extremely water heavy?

I think they mightha been joking ;)

Burning electrical in the walls can have a fishy/ammonia like smell due to the melting insulation. It's usually concentrated in one area though.

And if I truly am bothered I can put my own headphones in or find a secret spot in one of the never ending hospital hallways should I need!
This was kinda where my mind went first. If noisy stuff is happening and I don't want to be around it, I'll find another place to go.
I can't think of a single time that anyone has ever come into a quiet break room and started being obnoxiously loud on their phone without checking to see if it's okay first.
Now on the occasional bus ride, I've experienced the obnoxiousness, but that was rare, and it's also part of the reason why I had my own headphones.

Are the protestors pushing them back?
I don't want to be negative here, but sometimes they try to "kettle" protestors into a certain area by guiding them in a certain direction in order to encircle them. I'm wondering if there's a way to tell who's choosing the direction they're all going?
AFewStupidQuestions
Agreed. It's also a bit one dimensional, IMO.
Next time I'm going to play around with seasonings, fresh alliums, and whatever fresh mushrooms I can find to see what I can get out of it.

I've heard of this one recently.
Over in the medical sub some people thought a child may have it. From what information the OP provided, the conclusion was that the child likely had a foreign body up their nose. Apparently that can cause a similar, full body, fishy smell, similar to TMAU. It was a very interesting case to read up on.
I find that people who talk a lot of shit about others are often extremely insecure. I'm not sure if that information helpsyou or your friend at all, but it's helped me to understand the mean ones a bit better. I see them as scared, insecure, little people who don't have the emotional intelligence to interact well with others. It's quite sad to me and makes me see their comments for what I think they are, projection of their own fears.

Yes. He was very clear that those conditions were being created with intent to injure and destroy indigenous children.
He titled his report "The Story of a National Crime".

100%. And it was done on purpose. The way the person above you is trying to spin it is atrocious.
Henderson's 1922 report was literally called, “The Story of a National Crime”.

It's over.
I believe this is called defeatism.

That's wild to me.
At every place I've worked, in my part of Canada, we've been required to get informed consent to pass information to anyone, provider or otherwise. Exceptions can be made for emergencies, but it's always been drilled into me to not share data without explicit and documented consent.
I'll have to look to see if that's just a common policy or if it's written into law.

I just read that Mamdani passed a law requiring one-click cancellations for any type of subscription content.
Off the top of my head, I can't think of any reason why companies that retain data couldn't be forced to follow similar rules.

It's hard to know for sure because "mini stroke" isn't a defined term. It could be a way of explaining either a transient ischemic attack (TIA) or a mild ischemic or hemorrhagic stroke.
They're similar in symptoms, but differ by how long the signs and symptoms last. Basically, a TIA is transient, meaning the injury is generally temporary. A minor stroke is more permanent, although the effects can often improve with time and treatments.
The most basic signs and symptoms of either type of stroke are most commonly remembered using the BEFAST mnemonic.
Balance - sudden difficulty with balancing
Eyes - sudden onset of blurred or double vision
Facial drooping - smile or muscle tone may be newly uneven
Arms - unable to keep both arms up with eyes closed or uneven grip strength
Speech difficulty - slurring, trouble finding words or speaking
Time to call 911 - Also note the time symptoms were first noticed. This is important for early treatment
Edit: after writing all this I realized that they're likely talking about silent strokes. The signs and symptoms would be similar to what I wrote above, however they'd accumulate slowly over time which would likely lead to trying to figure out what's going on and discovery of little spots on imaging. That being said, depending on age and health, it could also be attributed to a number of different types of dementia.

When doing work from home or work in the community, most companies around here offer the choice of either company phones or pay in lieu.
Either way, the number we call from will not show up as the office number.

Nurse here. Policy requires us to call using a hidden number when we're using our personal devices.
Calling with our number visible opens us up to all sorts of inappropriate call backs that should go through the main office.
That being said, we would leave a voicemail to give a brief explanation about who we are, why we're calling, and when we will be attempting to call again.

"raiding" the game Habbo Hotel with the whole "Pool's Closed" thing. It was more bored kids being shitty (even though they often wore black-skinned, Afro avatars) than something with a focused, political purpose.
Didn't the whole thing start because the mods were rumoured to have been booting people with black avatars? Then eventually it evolved into drawing swastikas.
