I had an older dude tell me his soup that I just gave him was cold. I took it back to the kitchen and temped it at 190f.

Maybe he crit you wall falling down? Can mobs even do critical hits? Or more likely it was just a lag spike.

Do you also enjoy tinkering with the printer, or is it just a tool in your workflow? If you find the idea of upgrading the Ender fun, then give it a shot. Otherwise send it to me and buy a Bambu.

What kind of paint did you use?
A_Green_Jeep
It wasn't so bad with the little bowl I made, but I haven't tried anything bigger yet.
What kind of paint and top coat did you use? I was planing on using acrylic paints and then coating the entire thing in a clear epoxy, maybe sprinkling some sand on it while it's still wet for some more texture.

Ah, I didn't read your whole post, sorry. The heat won't damage the cables, but consistent bending and rubbing on metal edges will.
A_Green_Jeep
You need to manage them in some way. Whether you use a cable chain, wire loom, electrical tape, or zip ties, you don't want them just dangling loose.

I'm planning to use Polygem 307 Lite in my boa's new enclosure. It's just a moldable, sculptable epoxy that's you can texture and paint however you like. I've made a little bowl as a test piece so far, and I plan to coat, texture, and paint the entire foam background and sides of a 4x2x2.

It'll probably take some play time to get used to the differences. Other than that, staying alive is mostly about preparation and risk mitigation. Airways leave yourself an escape route and prioritize safety instead of loot.
A_Green_Jeep
I'd probably give it a shot and see how it feels in person. The top is probably mdf, so you might need to replace it if it gets too wet.

Either starve tame it, make kibble, or just keep farming prime meat throughout the whole process.

Klipper is definitely worth it, in my opinion. And you don't have to use a Raspberry Pi, you can use basically anything that can run Linux.

I can check specifics when I get off work, but I'm pretty sure I started at the high preset and turned a few things down a little. It ain't no Ultra at 120fps, but it looks good to me at a more than playable frame rate.
A_Green_Jeep
If you really want to upgrade, a regular 5070 might be good enough for you. I'm playing ASA single player at 5160x1440 on a 5070.

It can be, depends on what you're looking to get out of the game. You'll definitely want to play with the rates and probably some quality of life type mods. Recently I've been enjoying playing with faster harvest and breeding rates, but leaving XP at default or even lower to increase the feeling of progression, and I also kinda like the idea the other guy said with lowering player gather rates but increasing dino gather rates.

I say play for a bit and see if there's any small tweaks you want to make. Or go browse Modrinth and see if anything catches your eye. These are some that I like to use for "Vanilla."

I would not consider that cheating

Now its time to have some fun with it. One of my Enders lives on as an EnderWire, and the other is an IDEX project thats been on hold for a few years.
A_Green_Jeep
Well unfortunately it doesn't look like you made it all the way to the outer End. So I think your options are to either accept defeat, cheat, or connect to the world with another account to try and save yourself.

I pre-ordered the Ocarina of Time remake, but that's it for me.

Golems hit hard. I've lost hardcore worlds to them, before. If you need to kill one, pillar up three blocks so it can't hit you, otherwise be very careful around them and their villagers.
A_Green_Jeep
Yes

I ran my open air Ender 3 right by my monitor until i needed an enclosure to print ABS. But if you're that worried about it, buy or build an enclosure and air filter.
A_Green_Jeep
Oh hell no. Those center supports don't even go all the way down.
My first giga was a level 20 that I tamed just to have one. The rest of my tribe was scared of it and didn't want to keep it in the base with us, so I made a separate little pen for it a little ways off. Then the alphas on the server found it and killed it because they didn't want anyone else to have ANY gigas at all.
