You did not address what I said and set up this strawman because you are uneducated on this topic. Law is clear: ToS is not a contract.
Academic_No
Explain to everyone how that overturns not only current written law but a millennia of spirit and letter.
Academic_No
that feeling you got when you made the post is similar to the feeling people get when they complain. it isn't the same. their complaints are often valid. yours is just being a little bitch about how pissed people are.

one of the highest leverage things you can do right now is start having conversations with different AI models about this exact topic. get their opinion on how they can help you. they'll ask you questions and make suggestions. start exploring and experimenting.
get Hermes.
Academic_No
so now you're claiming you work for xAI
good faith indeed.
Academic_No
no what I said was correct and you do not work for xAI so I'm correct about your speculation. there's also new information out about how the models are performing behavior-wise. I'm not sharing it with you.

I had Grok help me with some diffusion workflows I am building and when it came time to test some of them they started generating lighthouses lol. I remembered this was a common complaint. They did this both for images and music generations not connected to Imagine.
Academic_No
lol we both know every time you see Starship launch videos you get super mad about what is entirely your fault to begin with.
Academic_No
we just watched the first iteration of this technology then we get to watch all the petty politics people seethe about it. it's been going on for years now.
Academic_No
it's your side suing him.
Academic_No
usually this is temporary and gets fixed quickly. last time it happened it lasted a week. it was really bad today.
Academic_No
weird how you ignore who is actually litigating against X and the rest of us then swap those people out entirely with you own personal and petty politics.
Academic_No
sorry I meant can you use voice mode for a reasonable amount of time without burning down your usage.
Academic_No
this is pure speculation. you're not wrong on abuse but it doesn't justify or solve anything on it's own.
Academic_No
I get it and I agree you should have eli5'd the classifier/filter model a bit more and been direct on the model type. when you say "reactive guardrail stack" that's just speculation. we already know there are specific models that do this and for all we know xAI has fine tuned Qwen.
Academic_No
does it last more than 45 minutes now?
Academic_No
not consistently.
Academic_No
nice.

for what use cases or applications

yeah this has been going on for months man. the black box random service with the slow squeeze is tiresome. I want Grok to succeed but I'm just moving to other providers the more they squeeze me out. I still go to Grok for a lot of opinion and then I come here hoping to hear someone legitimately happy that isn't a shill.
Academic_No
FLUX on anything else.
Academic_No
you can't "empirically" test a black box. any data you have that presents statistics is irrelevant inside of a black box. the record shows rate limits are a leading cause of customer dissatisfaction on the X network, not just here. empirically and obviously. it is a leading complaint against the service.
there's no reason to agree with black box services and shifting rate limits. there is less reason to agree with the sharp reduction in services.
being rude to upset customers is dogshit behavior.
Academic_No
yes it's not fun anymore at all.
I'm on my fifteenth or twentieth attempt to finish a simple animation. it's the worst I have ever seen it.
