The magnacut is no longer available on the custom 940's it seems.

AdMedium9565

Yeah, obviously. That easily falls into the category of not losing performance when choosing subsonic, just like 9mm. Most .45 ACP is naturally subsonic.

The issue is when people choose subsonic 300blk where you lose significant terminal performance by choosing subsonic.

The whole "I ain't showing nobody shit" mentality in here has always struck me as a bit odd, given that the whole reason we're all here is because we already bent over to do the paperwork and register our NFA items, and most of us have voluntarily spent thousands of dollars on an unconstitutional tax just to play by the rules.

But suddenly when Johnny law asks to see tax stamps they're billy badass saying "I ain't showing you shit". If it's a range owner or RO, sure, walk out I guess, but I guarantee these mfs saying they'd tell off state/local LE are just posturing on the internet.

OoS on the Layton for a while now. Heartbreaking stuff.

AdMedium9565

Layton OOS :(

Anyone know if they ever restock these deals?

AdMedium9565

In the US you can if it's not posted no trespassing. You don't go to jail for crossing someone's yard or wandering through the woods on someone's private property (As long as it's not posted). But it's rude, and they can trespass you if they want. There are pretty strict requirements of posting signs if you want it to be legally enforceable.

Yeah, it's my property, not public property, I should be able to prevent people from walking on it. Can I drive your car as long as I don't crash it? What if I just need to make a quick run to the store?

Crazy mentality that you think it's a right to just walk wherever you want. And walking through the woods or fields or grass damages it. Creates foot paths that require fixing. Which is why on hikes they tell you to stay on the trail.

AdMedium9565

Call me crazy, but if I own a piece of land I shouldn't have to let any tom dick or Harry use it as they please. Do they get to drive my car and sit on my porch too?

230 million sure, most at deeply discounted prices. And in most other regions the conversion into USD is already far below US pricing at full retail. I'd be surprised if the average sale price of those 230 million copies is even 25% of full US retail.

Not you specifically, just gamers in general. Don't like it? Don't buy it ¯_(ツ)_/¯

AdMedium9565

No, people aren't directly asking companies to burn through hundreds of millions (or even billions) of dollars to develop games. But they're constantly asking indirectly. What do you think people are asking for when they ask for expansive, content rich games with ultra realistic graphics? Are those kinds of games made with money or fairy dust?

Halo 2 cost $40 mil. BF6 cost North of $400 mil. So yeah, it needs to sell more copies, even with a $10 higher price tag. GTA 6 cost about $1.5 billion to develop. Even at $80 they need to sell ~19 million copies (at full retail) just to break even. That's not including the retailer cut, distribution, or overhead. With those taken into account it's probably closer to 40 million copies before they even start to make money on it. I'd much rather pay more money for the game than deal with the micro transaction bullshit that's been infecting games over the past decade.

But I get it, you want bigger and better games every year, and you want to pay less money for them than ever before.

$70 in 2021 is $89 in 2026.

You act like video games are a necessity or a right. They're a luxury. If you can't afford it, don't buy it.

AdMedium9565

Those kinds of products are completely different than video games. They've gotten cheaper and cheaper to produce, while video games are more expensive now than they ever have been to develop. If they were so cheap to make, and so profitable to the companies making them, they wouldn't be shutting down studios.

Obviously these companies want to maximize profit, but it's also wild to think the same $60 that got you a 10 hour game in 2006 should get you a 200 hour game in 2026. Just on inflation alone that $60 game in 2006 should cost over $100 in 2026.

AdMedium9565

You act like 2021 was a long time ago. I was born in 96 brother. Most of my life that I can remember they were $60 which is insane.

You didn't answer my question. Is it realistic to expect that video games, or any other product will stay the same price forever?

AdMedium9565

Not as well as right side up shooting works for him.

AdMedium9565

Go to a match. Report back.

Or just Google "USPSA PCC Nationals" and look at the pictures.

AdMedium9565

Where is the next match option? It just sits at the match screen saying it needs 4 players.

AdMedium9565

The servers are all empty and the match won't even start.

AdMedium9565

They're all empty. No players. Match won't even start.

AdMedium9565

An SBR is only an SBR in its complete configuration, with a stock. If it started life as a pistol, and was then registered as an SBR, it still returns to being a pistol if you return it to pistol form. This has been settled in court and in several ATF opinion letters.

If you put a 16"+ upper on it, it also stops being an SBR.

AdMedium9565

It's Xanax. Not Xanex.

I'm saying you're having an aneurysm, because it's unfathomable to you that people would still buy DA products when the reddit hive mind clearly told you that they're garbage so it must be true. Everyone knows people are only buying CAT and SAW cans now.

AdMedium9565

You need a spelling lesson?

You're the one having an aneurysm because people are still buying Dead Air stuff when clearly everyone hates them because reddit told you so.

AdMedium9565

It's just absurd. Every big company goes through cycles. The entire subreddit loves them. A week later, they're the devil incarnate, then they go back to loved, and then there's the next drama.

Ignore the hive mind. Buy what you want.

AdMedium9565

Same, a guy was shooting one at a 2-gun match and it was very pleasant as a spectator and a shooter.

AdMedium9565

Yeah, lots of us.

Their newer stuff is pretty dope. Yeah they fucked up the Sierra 5 debacle, we're all so glad you're here to remind us that they're now the devil incarnate and no one should buy their products.

Remember a year before that when Dead Air was the darling of this subreddit and could do no wrong? This high school tier gun drama is fucking unbearable.
