If you’d like to play hit me up!!

I literally haven't had any issues with it. Sorry you've had problems

AdaptiveGamer

I'm not super far into the game right now, only about five hours, and a lot of that's just been vibing in the game so I'm not totally sure. There is a cycle system where you have to complete missions within a certain amount of time, otherwise they disappear. You might not be able to grind out a ton of side missions before having to progress the story, but I'm not totally sure.

AdaptiveGamer

I don't play a lot of XCOM games, although I like the idea of them. I just never got into XCOM. I found it a little bit clunky, kind of hard to understand as far as the progression systems. Just not as fluid as I would like (I'm sure actual XCOM fans would crucify me for saying that). I also felt the story was really weak, and I just did not care about it.

However, in Zero Company, I feel like there is impact to what I'm doing. Whether in a battle or outside of battle, talking to my companions, leveling up my base, unlocking new equipment, trying to figure out builds, it all just feels very streamlined and easy for me, and that's a huge plus. Not to mention the story is actually really good, and I feel engaged in what they're talking about instead of just trying to skip through everything and get to the next battle.

I would say my only gripe, and it's not a real gripe at all, is that in the third-person camera mode, the jog or run animation looks a little funky. That's literally it. I'm not having any performance issues. I haven't crashed (knock on wood). Not to mention, I'm a huge Star Wars fan, so that kind of ties it all together for me.

AdaptiveGamer

I'm playing Star Wars Zero Company right now, and it's absolutely awesome.

AdaptiveGamer

Just to confirm, I can't ready Irelia, right? It's just the target, so she gets +1?

AdaptiveGamer

I have been trying to get into GW2 but I really think I need a solid friend or two to play with! I'm 32 in MST feel free to DM me.

AdaptiveGamer

I sent you a message on Discord. Hope to hear back from you!

It just kind of feels like I'm doing the same thing, which is trying to complete some map activities until I get to the next level cap to do the next story quest. I don't feel like I can do any dungeons or anything like that yet. I don't know. I enjoy dungeons and MMOs a lot, but I feel like GW2 doesn't really have that, or at least I'm not looking in the right place. I've also been a little concerned about difficulty in the game (i.e., is there difficult content to achieve)?

AdaptiveGamer

I hope you don't mind me asking you, as a random person, but I'm also kind of in the mix between World of Warcraft and GW2. I played in the past, but never finished the base game, and I don't think I've ever played any of the expansions. Does GW2 really get better as I go forward? Because it is a little bit stale, I won't lie. But I enjoy the action combat way more than the tab target of WoW.

AdaptiveGamer

I don’t know the answer to this but I was literally thinking the same thing last night as I was struggling to deal enough damage to Lando Lake Country 😂

AdaptiveGamer

Of course it borrows mechanics from other games. There's literally not a single unique game on the market. They all borrow from Magic if you want to make that argument.

AdaptiveGamer

😂 I’ve played pretty much every TCG over the last 20 years bro. Again mechanical game design is top tier.

AdaptiveGamer

Even with the messy card text I still think it’s one of the best mechanically designed TCGs

AdaptiveGamer

Vote for Pedro.

AdaptiveGamer

That makes me so bummed haha. I love Leona.
