My first thought was I could already feel my babies moving by 17 weeks. I also support abortion, but couldn’t fathom doing it so late in the game.
OP’s boyfriend sounds unreliable and kinda like a loser though, so if she keeps it she should be prepared to do it alone.

One of the pictures she shared were of her family during the c section (she was conscious), so it doesn’t appear she was put under. Regardless, definitely traumatic birth.
I had my twins at 35 weeks. We had appointments 2-3 times a week by the end, and it was kind of annoying in the moment, but now I’m thankful. They found the placenta was failing my Twin A, but were able to deliver her emergently. I can’t imagine having lost her.

I think they’re getting to the age where they would appreciate solo parent time. This doesn’t only apply to twins. I was raised in a family with five kids and both my parents tried really hard to go on a monthly solo date with each of us.

Yes, it is very draining to be a hands-on parent, but it’s hasn’t been to the point where it’s hard to function since the newborn stage. When they sleep through the night things get exponentially easier, though when that is varies per baby. That’s a moot point if you have a night nurse.
I like the PPD or PPA angle someone else suggested.

Idk why she would be completely exhausted if she has a nanny and didn’t work. I’m a SAHM, no nanny, but family members help a ton. My husband is a doctor, so away frequently on long shifts, and we could hire a nanny if we wanted. We might after our third baby arrives, but things have been pretty smooth with the babies since 5-6 months (when they started sleeping through the night). If they hadn’t we probably would have hired a night nanny.
I think if you want your character to have struggle they can’t be that wealthy, maybe upper middle class, because money can solve most issues.

Assuming you’re in the US, he can get his birth certificate if he applies to a government office, which one depends on his state a bit. It’s documentation he should have and will likely need at some point.

What is her birth trauma? This is very intense. Changing diapers isn’t even thaaaat bad.

Not saying she’s not cheating, but that’s typical for getting color done. Takes like all damn day.

I’m a woman so idk why this was on my front page, but they should be coming to you as long as you have young kids. They’re being entitled and selfish, which seems to be a common thing with baby boomers….
Stop being a loser
