Economies are closed loops we can play that game for hours. 

The “large corporate interests” don’t give a crap about pensions, they aren’t involved in that. It’s entirely about the state and what the state can pay out to retirees.

People are living longer, producing less babies and cost of living is increasing while pension funds are overinvested outside europe. This is not a sustainable system. You can keep wishing you’re gonna retire earlier but when the only way to pay you is to borrow money for it, the state ends up paying more and more interest every year just to pay pensions… at the end of the day you have a debt crisis.

Lowering corporate tax rate is a different matter. High taxes on businesses is not necessarily the most efficient way to get money from businesses when those same businesses can just leave the country and do their business from abroad. Mega corps like Google optimise the shit out of the taxes; smaller startups get affected negatively and leave the country; what’s left is the SMEs that run the country and if you tax them too much you disincentivize economic activity there too, and those people end up looking for jobs instead of providing job structures…

It’s not “the corpos” that are making me think this stuff. I just have spent more time studying rather than vibing it out of Reddit comments.

Look, I don't really care and I don't particularly like or dislike notch. But I haven't seen notch's tweets, and I haven't seen the post you mention.

To me it's just obvious that if you claim "This person said X on twitter", you include a link to the tweet in question.

You took a comment I wrote saying "people suing games without EULAs isn't a thing" and turned it into "Oh so game studios should stop writing EULAs". You then claim that the game studios do something I disagree with.

I still have the issue with adsense. I go to my adsense dashboard, click on my other account in the account picker, it says You are currently signed in as @gmail.com, use another account?. I click "use another account", sign into the other account, and then it basically says fuck you and tells me I'm still logged into the old one. Ridiculous.
