For my expensive lands (duals/fetches/tomb/etc) I just have one real card and proxy any copies I may need for other decks. Anyone who complains about that is just mad they spent a ton of money and rather play your wallet than your ability.

That’s the standard starter tool set from Amazon I can tell; you will want some better nippers as those you have just pinch plastic and will leave stress marks everywhere. Glass files for sanding the nubs down will make a world of difference in the final product as well. Definitely watch a YouTube video over how to make your cuts and such.
