I have been enjoying this one myself and I am excited to compare it to some similar bottles.

I did not like the 1920 at first, however, coming back to it a few more times since has allowed me to enjoy it a bit more. Definitely not a top 10 for me, though!

So I checked in today. It's the Redbreast 21, not the 27. They want just under $400 for it.

Fair enough. I'm not sure I'd get it at that price unless it had been a while. Maybe the 1792 BiB? That's one i just haven't tried yet. I've tried others in their lineup.

I'm not saying that isn't the risk with any new bottle you haven't tried. I'm just saying that if my friend gave me a taste of his and it was good, and I bought another bottle and it was bad. I might not risk it again.

Also it depends on the price. I'm not risking $490 on a Willet 11 Yr Bourbon, for example, until I've tried it at a local bar.

My FIL is not a big drinker, but I still buy him the occasional bottle. If he enjoyed bourbon the way I did, those are the kinds of gifts I would get him!!!

I'm sure I have missed some other cool finds in this picture, but I missed the E.H. Taylor, on the last bourbon drop near me. I'd like to have a bottle or 2 of that.

Buffalo Trace is really hard to get by me and honestly fantastic compared to some >$30 bourbons.

If you are just looking for a chill drink session, then 750 will be plenty. I doubt you'll finish the bottle unless you guys are heavy drinkers. Start with smaller pours. Enjoy it, don't take shots.

I bought mine at an auction for like $200 with the chance to win a gun. I didn't win the gun, but the bourbon was decent. Not $200, but for charity, I don't mind. I'd pick it up again for $80. I've spent more than $80 on stuff I've liked less.

I don't think un-released stratagem are hacking. I'm pretty sure Arrowhead does that on random missions. You see people post about getting stuff all the time. Hackers are usually like the op said, no reload, multiple strategms without cool down. No friendly fire damage. Things like that.
