Thank you

The white subpixel on high brightness gonna dilude colors on OLED. That's why Mini LED will always look better in HDR.

Welcome to the VA club.

While streaming: disconnect your internet from your PC for a few seconds and reconnect it, and turn your in-game camera around and see if the utilized birate number goes up to around 90-100. If not, repeat the process.

Alexsamui

Well, yep. It's my boots. Silly me. Thank you.

Alexsamui

Check if the streaming is utilizing full bandwidth (100mbps). Ctrl + N and look at the bandwidth while also move around the camera quickly. If the number is not going up towards 100 and still less than 10, briefly disconnect your internet for about 4-5 seconds, and reconnect it, and check again if the bandwidth is being fully utilized, if not, disconnect the internet again and repeat.

I start a game natively in Steam offline mode, and start the same game in GeForce Now, and Alt+Tab back and force in the same in-game scene, and I seriously could not tell a difference (streaming at 100mb per sec with the same streaming resolution and in-game resolution/settings).

I’ve reheated like 200 so far. No sparking. Thanks for the new information.

Alexsamui

Doesn’t turn cheese hard and burned? I’ve reheated like 200 lasagnas so far and it happens every time it stays too long in there with too much microwave power…. So it really happens. And no, foil cups fillled with lasagna didn’t cause anything to me and my microwave so far.

Alexsamui

It’s store bought dry mozzarella on top. Too long in the microwave and it’s semi-burned and hard. I think that’s common. Not sure why you are being confused. I’m talking about reheating a lasagna that’s assembled in a foil cup and already baked from home.

Alexsamui

Really?

Alexsamui

Because that’s how I sell the lasagna. I bake them at home and reheat them at the market.

Alexsamui

It’s microwave friendly. I’ve reheated hundreds of them and never had any problems. I think if it’s filled up properly with food like lasagna, it won’t explode.

Alexsamui

Does this game allow you to wear different outfits? The game is great and all but the only downside to me is that I’ve seen only this outfit so far.

Alexsamui

Exactly. The blacks in SDR mode is raised and not down to 0 nits properly, except in HDR.

Alexsamui

Blacks in this game is not down to 0 nits in SDR, except in HDR. It’s clearly a giant bug…

Alexsamui

It’s not lacking colors. The issue is raised blacks. Blacks in this game is not down to 0 nits in SDR. The only fix now is to use HDR mode. It’s either a stupid artistic choice to kill contrast for no reason, or a giant bug because, clearly, it’s night and day in HDR…

Alexsamui

Da fuq is that bazel..

The laptop doesn’t have VRR chip to output VRR to any display. I need to buy a PC with VRR graphic card for VRR to work. Getting a VRR monitor is not gonna help. I already have a 144hz TV.

Alexsamui
Alexsamui

Yeah I’m on a plain 60hz laptop. Even outputting to my 144hz TV is not gonna change anything. It’s sad.

Alexsamui

I was talking about in-game fps cap. The GeForce now program itself is capping the screen at 60 but the game engine is running above 60 and causes out of sync juddery image. The program’s fps cap doesn’t have anything to do with the issue.

Alexsamui

It’s 25-30 fps with ray-reconstruction in Crimson Desert. With framegen, 80-90 fps.

Alexsamui

It’s the new issue with modern games that utilize newer graphical technologies from Nvidia. It persists in a lot of games like KCD2, Borderlands 4, Black Myth Wukong, etc. It has nothing to do with GeForce Now.

Alexsamui

I've reinstalled Geforce Now and the maximum resolution in-game is now 1440p, but it won't go over that (higher resolution won't apply when you choose it). I'm streaming at 4K.
