It’s high time I emerge from my cum cocoon, I grow tired of masturbating to sounds you all make

AlienSheep23

How so? Nothing I said had anything to do with sex or gender.

Unity assaulted millions of people, Rick didn’t answer his phone. Those are very different things

AlienSheep23

It’s BRETT con now. Remember?

AlienSheep23

So… your assumption that I’m male was wrong.

AlienSheep23

I’m female

AlienSheep23

Confused. Was this meant to be a reply to that 1 commenter that was saying sexist stuff?

I don’t think I made any assumptions in the main post-

AlienSheep23

I love him, he’s my favorite character. I strive to be a Jerry.

AlienSheep23

Oh, god

AlienSheep23

Idk man, there’s a looooooot of bad shit he’s done and mistakes made. I’m hard pressed to find one where he truly does nothing harmful.

AlienSheep23

And I would like to point out that - Rick neither killed, nor attempted to kill, a single person this episode. All of his actions were in favor of getting unity to leave him alone, and saving the people she possessed.

AlienSheep23

I loved the scene when Morty was about to die in space and Rick sacrificed himself for him

AlienSheep23

Im 25 and still don’t know how

oh fuck. that's terrible, im glad he got caught.

That reminds me though, one time when i was 10, my mom was letting the next door neighbor kid sleep over with me (i wasnt allowed to sleep over with anyone else), and this kid.. was super crazy ADHD, and it was overwhelming for me at the time, so me not having developed empathy,

i decided to peer pressure her into taking 3 "ibuprofen" (it was benadryl). i wanted her to chill the fuck out.

it worked, but i remember thinking i'd fucked up because she looked like a zombie for a solid 3 hours after that.

i still feel bad. i have her contact, but i never told her what actually happened there. i wonder if she's traumatized, or even remembers.

AlienSheep23

as an old, i want to let you know, you're not alone.

i'm 25 and pretty much at the same point as you. 5th grade education.

AlienSheep23

nah, i don't. i make a little over 2k/mo at the moment, way too much.

You'd be surprised how good the coverage is tho. i was on medicaid till i was 19, it was really a nice insurance.

AlienSheep23

oh absolutely i should. i'm still kinda newly free, i've been out of my mom's house since may 2024.

I've spent most of this time trying to get myself oriented and figure out who i am / what i want, and recover. which i think ive done pretty well, with my support system. But, i havent actually been to a doctor in many years, have no health insurance, and i plan to spend next year attempting to seek therapy before doing anything else.

AlienSheep23

noooo i think you're not understanding me.

You talked to your stuffed animals. But, did they move, blink, breathe, have facial expressions, and talk back to you? like, visually & audibly in your environment just the same as you are reading this comment? or did you just sort of imagine them doing that?

AlienSheep23

it should be noted that my abuser had been feeding me benadryl every day & night for years, and when i got to 9 or 10 i started taking them myself, and of course i was trying to take enough to feel "high".

DPH was probably a huge factor, in combination with my extreme isolation, that may have caused hallucinations. but like, i'm still unsure if thats what it was.

AlienSheep23

We could all take a lesson from Jerry.

He had his faults, but despite living with a psychotic space fairer & a family that explicitly goes out of their way to attempt to make him miserable, he remains authentically himself.

Jerry is quite possibly the strongest willed individual in the entire universe of this show; even above Rick. Even above evil Morty.
