Have you ever heard of the paradox of tolerance? I believe in womens right to choose her future. International travel is 5-10x as expensive from the US than from within Europe.
Paid holiday leave limits are often 2 weeks that cannot be taken in a single span. Going on an expensive 10-20h flight for 5-6 days of tourism isn't usually worthwhile when you can visit a large US city or Hawaii for semi-equivalent experiences.

Reds for cool summer or "soft winter" are medium to deep darkness, slightly muted, and cool. I think you're between winter and cool summer, so "soft winter" is probably a sweet spot (fewer pastels than cool summer, staying mainly in the medium-to-dark end of the colors, but still a bit muted and cool).

You'll need to post drapes of the same color with cool/warm muted/clear versions to know. And in natural light. Even then, phone camera auto white balance makes this a crapshoot. You'll look blue inmone photo and golden in the next.
Phone cameras are notorious for changing the whole blue-yellow balance of photos depending on what colors the software detects. Even the same face, same light, 2 seconds apart, the walls will change from blue to yellow depending on the clothing colors.

As other have said, you need a clean white base to get pastel blue. With any yellow tone, you get pastel green.
If you tone your light gold, you'll end up slightly darker, but more cool/ashy.
