Because (-1)0 = 1.

It will not activate in US. Trust me, I made that mistake.

AmazonFox

I am having the same issue. I am unable to activate with a U.S. IP. I don't really want to risk using a VPN and getting banned. I guess we're just out of luck. :/

No getting a 30 on the ACT is not enough to get a full ride anywhere

This is true, but it is enough to get full tuition if you apply to some lower quality colleges.

Awesome! Ice skating is a great date - it can be flirty/competitive if you are both good, or if one/both of you are bad, you can hold hands and depend on one another. It's really fun! :)

AmazonFox

You rock! I would suggest eventually working at & managing a campground before owning. As someone with experience working at a campground I can tell you that managers have almost all the responsibilities an owner would have. They are only slightly less involved with the financials.

CPCC Central Campus (the uptown one) does have a dark room. If I had to guess, someone in the printing shop or art department may be able to help.

AmazonFox

Yes, even with the 30% off. The sale goes on until the end of April.

I think somewhere around 15k IP will get you started, but to really diversify your pages you may need up towards 30k IP.

I don't think so. Most stores reserve the right to refuse service for any reason not related to race, religion, etc. I think they have the right (and they would exercise the right) to refuse service in this instance.

100m (I didn't train it): 11.2
200m: low 23's. My goal for this season was low 22's.
400m (I didn't train it): 50's

Lifting made me faster across the board. I struggled with pacing for both the 200m and the 400m, that's why my times probably seem weird compared to my 100m. My 100m wasn't enough to get me a spot at any of the colleges I applied to, so I didn't bother continuing to train. Maybe I will train again in college.

Edit: It's worth noting my case is the exception to the rule. I think with an 11.2 you could usually get onto a team. I chose my school primarily based on its academics and the academic award they offered me.

Edit2: It's also worth noting that I have only recently begun training the power clean as well as the clean & jerk. My goal was a 225 clean & jerk in a couple years. I will probably continue that goal in order to nationally compete in olympic weightlifting.

Squat: 285.

Deadlift: 335.

Power clean: 135.

Squat clean: 155.

Well, != means does not equal in C-like programming languages. I have also seen =/= used for does not equal.

AmazonFox

Yes. Both would be incredibly useful in helping you reach your goals. Just make sure your coach is knowledgeable.

Also consider if your goals are worth the cost of getting a private coach - they do tend to be fairly expensive.

AmazonFox

Why would you advise against taking them? I'm just playing devil's advocate - for the record, I did not take pre-workouts and I still don't.

AmazonFox

to my knowledge they don't increase performance they just increase focus.

Caffeine is the most worthwhile ingredient in preworkout formulas. If used properly caffeine will decrease reaction times. Also it acts as a stimulant so it does have some positive correlation with increased performance.

To the OP: preworkouts aren't necessary but they do ever so slightly help. If you are going to take one, clear it with your doctor first. If your doctor okays it, you need to practice 1-2 times while on preworkout (to get used to how it makes your feel) then save it only for meets.

Creatine is also worth taking. You can ask your doctor about supplementing it as well. As long as you have healthy organs and drink plenty, there is little reason not to take Creatine. It is a very useful supplement.

AmazonFox

Agreed. In the OP's case, the best way to handle caloric intake would be to monitor his weight gain/loss trends and adjust accordingly. At the moment his estimations are probably nowhere near accurate.

I'm 5'8" (173 cm) and 150 lbs (68.2 kg). I burn about 24,000 Calories a week. Kinda high for my height and weight, but I exercise a lot (running/kayaking 5 days a week, weightlifting 3 days a week).

I aim to slow bulk to 165 lbs (75kg) and maintain weight there until I hit a 215 lb (97.72 kg) clean and jerk as well as a 175 lb (79.54 kg) snatch. From there I hope to slowly cut down to 155 lbs (69 kg) while maintaining my lifts so I will be ready to compete.

I expect to spend about 2 years training to hit those lifts at my goal weight.

As long as you can breathe about 1/2 of a normal breath you are ok. You aren't meant to be able to comfortably breathe w/ a belt tightened.

AmazonFox

If you are very dedicated 2 years will make a significant difference. Being consistent about going to the gym and counting calories are both crucial to your success.

AmazonFox

I mean, it really depends on the sport. In track for example if you are incredibly built w/ high squat and deadlift numbers, you can excel (to a point) with only mediocre technique.

AmazonFox

I'm not sure if they deal with sports bras, but there is a subreddit called /r/abrathatfits which is pretty good about this stuff.

Eat at maintenance while increasing the weight. You have to realize though that increases in strength will come very slowly and eventually stop.

AmazonFox

For your 4500 Calories, do you weigh foods and use exact portion sizes? If you are already measuring your Calories exactly, it is time to increase your caloric intake because you have maintained the same weight for two weeks.

If diet isn't a problem, sleep could be an issue. Personally my recovery is pretty bad unless I am getting 9-10 hours of sleep a night. If you are in a position to reset your sleep schedule, you should probably do so. If nothing else, read about sleep hygiene in order to create an environment conducive to good sleep.

If your diet and sleep are in order, you don't have much of an option besides continuing to do what you are doing. Your lifts are low enough that you should be able to maintain linear progression. If you still haven't seen much progress by your next annual checkup, it may be worth mentioning your problems to your doctor. If they think it is appropriate they can test your T levels.

For what it's worth, I think most guys at the gym are more concerned about getting that new PR or getting a sweet pump going rather than hitting on women. I might glance at a pretty girl once and shoot her a smile but then it's back to business.
