Da jeg var 17 og arbejdede i Rema 1000, var der en kvinde, som jeg ville gætte på var midt i 50’erne. Hun betalte for sine lange røde LA smøger ved at smide assorterede mønter på båndet, som jeg så lettere befippet måtte samle op og tælle sammen.

Hun får et par kroner retur, og bliver så fuldstændig balstyrisk, og anklager mig for at have stjålet hendes 20’er.

Hvordan hun skulle vide hvor mange penge hun lemfældigt smed på båndet fra sin pung, aner jeg ikke, og jeg prøvede med humor at forklare hende, at der altså var væsentligt flere penge i min kasse, så hvis jeg skulle gøre mig til tyv, havde det ikke været for en 20’er.

Hun fortsatte med at råbe og skrige og opholde køen ved kassen, hvortil hun eksplicit truede mig på livet flere gange.

Der kom souschefen Mike, en bodybuilder der stiller op til konkurrencer, og smed hende ud på røv og albuer, mens hun skreg at jeg bare skulle vente til jeg fik fri den aften.

Jeg fik fri med det samme, kom ud bagved i vores pause rum, og blev tilbudt krisepsykolog på Remas regning. Jeg havde det fint, tog egentlig ikke truslen synderligt seriøst fra en alkoholisk-udseende ældre dame, men det var da noget af en oplevelse.

I find starting out with a beer or a drink helps me lighten and loosen up, and feels easier to be a part of the party, instead of standing on the edge of the floor just filming people.

You have any tips for someone who want to take on a project like this on their own? I have no real experience, could you recommend any resources/YouTube channels/something else?

I loved this, editing was on point! The washed out look seems to be a current thing in a lot of music videos, just roll with it!

You happen to know anything like Pixel Film for Premiere? I love them for FCPx but I'm moving to Windows and cannot find anything that seems worthwhile in the same way that Pixel Film was for me on FCPx

I use an Aputure Amaran LED light for my club videos, and usually bring my entire bag of gear with me and just leave it with the DJ, usually a locked off stand or the like, not accessible by the crowd.

Club work is fun, been doing photography in nightlife since October, just starting videos recently.

so are you gonna test it out for us, is it actually bulletproof?

I sadly only have a 6D for shooting at the moment, which is less than ideal in every way possible except for maybe the ISO.

Very new to filming, am slowly transitioning from nightclub photography and I love videography much more, I think it's way more fun. Far from as good at it though :/

Would you mind explaining the flicker and audio reactive effects a bit more? How you do it? As said it's all very new to me, and I'd love to learn. It's cool if you don't bother/have the time/want to though, no harm in asking right?

Would you mind going through what kinda edits you did on this? Very new to filmmaking/videography and I really feel my videos could use a boost, yours look great despite not being a massive fan of the datamoshing
