I didn't get a job but I learnt a few things. I got 5 interviews in the last 3 weeks and all of them failed. The current job is toxic and underpaying.

1. Never reveal too much. I told that I was attending interview in mobile hotspot when the connection fluctuated. But he criticized that I was not serious about it. Wtf. I should have fibernet or starlink here.(For a Qualcomm interview)

2. Avoid Indians even if they work in foreign. One mf kept asking why I was switching me job in 6 months and what am I working on. All these things were already in the resume. (Mathworks)

3. Do a lot of cold LinkedIn messages and mails. Market shamelessly. I landed on an interview for German company. But they moved on with other candidate. They still have my resume in their db.(I don't like to reveal)

4. Set boundaries. Qualcomm is notorious for disrespecting their candidates' time. They scheduled an interview for 2 hours but extended to 4 hours. And I lost a working day because of it. (Qualcomm again)

5. Apply for roles even if it is only 20% similar to what you're skilled in.

You tried your best but the world backstabbed you. nothing wrong in that. i would say even if you are hooking with her, you worked your ass of in your 20s which every citizen should dream of and execute. You will eventually loose interest in s** in a few months and you would return back to normal. So, start something new that would reflect the hard work you put before. Everything will fall into place.

the question is what strategy do you follow to tackle these job losses due to AI. Not asking some boomer advice.

I have scolded a lot of seniors in my career, even my manager. Kind requests will not reduce their ego only violence will. Write a mail to them that states their flaws and how it is affecting your peace of mind during work but don't forget to cc their seniors or CTO or higher up so that they come to know about this issue.

hehe. yes. I took revenge anyway. i didn't complete many tasks that he gave me because of the initial anger he showed me every time he gave me a task. i was interested in development but at the same time i need a supportive culture around me to do a good job. also, when a junior comes in, they have to give small tasks initially and ramp up the difficulty. but this moron gave the most difficult task as my first task without knowing the difficulty. he thinks that if he gives me time, i can do any kind of hard tasks. but my brain has a limited capacity (just like everyone) so if i finish small easy tasks, i can get confidence and momentum to take up larger tasks. This manager doesn't even know that basic stuff and he is commanding me.
