Disagree, some hero’s shine earlier and some really come online in the later rounds. My team was down 0-3 tonight until our Mei/Juno got their full buffs/kit and we reverse swept them. Not saying it always happens but you can be down but not out.

Overwatch for me. I haven’t played it in a long time and I wasn’t enjoying the state of Marvel Rivals and found a new breath of fresh air playing Overwatch. Secondary pick for me is Crimson Desert, when I get overwhelmed with the prior lol.

As you progress to higher difficulty I recommend trauma resistance, copper cards, and specific damage weapon focus cards. Ex. Shotgun build focusing on more effective range with faster reload with strong dps numbers. Another I would get use to real quick is down in front so you don’t take or deal damage to your teammates while crouching. The bots were heavily lobotomized before turtle rock jumped ship so they will walk right in front of you no matter what build you go for. I got every achievement in the game on both xbox and PC so message me if you want any more specific builds or tips I am always happy to help with this game. Also don’t forget a few stamina cards but in reality sticking close as a team can render that not as necessary as the former mentioned ones.

Back 4 Blood. Great graphics/gameplay with a unique card director system that made each level always feel different but the hive mind hate crowd said it wasn’t “Left 4 dead 3” so it got massive hate against it and than Turtle Rock abandoned it shortly after. I still play it to this day and can’t comprehend how much hate it received.

I hate even having to do Nightmare on some levels, children of the worm/tunnels of blood mutations are beyond annoying on the base campaign levels. When I switched to PC I knew re-farming the completions/achievements was going to be way more difficult than the first. If you need help message and add me I got you.

I came from Rivals but played Overwatch a long time ago. The biggest breath of fresh air was honestly having a more “offensive” geared ult instead of a press Q and make your team impervious for 10 seconds. Makes me realize how much more I enjoy Overwatch than Rivals. People actually die and positioning feels more weighted.

Not that it has to do with this but I know the devs added “stutter” to 3rd person to compensate for the advantage of playing in 3rd. Leon will walk normal speed in first or 3rd but grace will periodically “stumble” in 3rd but in first she doesn’t get the stumble. Assuming first person doesn’t give you the “creeps” its the better way to play for both speed runs and avoiding unexpected grabs/hits.

I have an insane amount of playtime on this game and was even credited on youtube with finding some of the original secrets. With that being my background allow me to explain why the game was a great shakeup from the boring L4D gameplay loop. The gameplay loop of L4D was just speed running with versus mode on for “max fun”. When Back 4 Blood released it tried something new which was the card/director system and personally I thought it was way more fun to have consistent variables on each level. Unfortunately you had a mass of L4D fanboys (who seemingly couldn’t just stick to L4D) cry and complain that TurtleRock didn’t bring versus back. My only personal gripe with the game as someone who played it to the last drop of life was the children of the worm dlc ruined the base game levels with the way the spawns would work but most people wouldn’t notice that who didn’t play day 1. Back 4 blood was an absolute diamond of a game in my opinion and deserved far better attention than it received. One more thing to add as well the swarm mode in Back 4 Blood which was the PVP mode was actually really fun as well but hey again L4D fanboys who think running the same route at max speed with the pills/level skip strats was peak fun I guess. Glad you’re enjoying one of my all time favorite games though.

Its almost like they make casual/competetive for a reason but when the kids who grew up always getting participation/effort awards have to actually compete to earn something they are quickly spotted by their far more competitive team mates and brought down for there lack of skill/effort. Not to point out the obvious but if im looking to avoid the “mean” kids on the playground maybe don’t go to the playground? Food for thought.

Not gonna dissect the entire reply but the whole “You gave E33 a pass why can’t I” is funny in the same regard that every game can’t be an E33, or a baldurs gate 3 or a fortnite etc. The next ten slop AI games that come out will not only look bad but also be called out for being bad and using the cheap tactics and run arounds that AI uses.
